Because they have history of doing that? Haven't there been plenty of Chelsea loanees who did feck all with their careers?
Plenty who weren't talented, yeah, but even they were able to have football careers afterwards. In terms of talented loanees, before this recent batch, they did struggle, yeah (notably Charly Musonda), but nowadays, their young players are moving on to have solid careers at the top level (Aina, Lamptey, Broja, Livramento, Guehi, Tomori, etc.). Hutchinson should be fine as long as he continues on this track.

I mean that's kinda my point, they won't have those careers at Chelsea. If I were a Chelsea fan, I'd be pissed off letting Guéhi, Tomori and Abraham go, only to sign Lukaku and Koulibaly, and trying to sign Aké.
Okay, I understand now. Yeah, that's a reasonable point. Even Colwill, who's super talented, may not have a chance. Mount got lucky that he came up at a good time, and Tuchel seems to be really high on Gallagher, who's more of an exception than the norm.

From what I’ve seen of him in the UCL, I don’t think he is that good at all.
Sign Kounde, forget Kimpempe. That would be ideal. Kounde would be a direct AC replacement.

He has gotten better, but from what I've seen, he's not clinical enough to deliver at the top level. His touches aren't soft enough, either; when he's in tight spaces, he won't do as well. However, he is a willing, nonstop runner, so that'll help him in finding the spaces.
Toffolo is a really good signing.
Was exceptional last season, be interesting to see how he handles the step up in standard.
