Classic United, same club that let Jude go to Dortmund and passed on Camavinga because we couldn't guarantee minutes when they're quite clearly better than a lot of what we have.

We never passed on Camavinga, he wanted to go Madrid. I agree though, he is obviously better than what we have, especially with regards to ETH'S system.

Nkunku will very likely stay at Leipzig for next season at the very least
I think so too.

He looks like a good player that has pace, passing and finishing but personally, we need to think about other players arriving from Germany and the level they have reached at our club.

Next season will be important for him as he needs to show he isn't a one-season wonder.

Any league one clubs been linked to Telles recently? There must be someone who is in the market for a corner specialist?
Haha to be fair in his very first appearance for us I remember he had a few excellent corners that were whipped in dangerously. He then lost this ability forever because it hasn't been seen since.

Imagine Inter getting Lukaku on loan without any obligation to buy, a year after selling him for 115 million.

  • MUFC was prepared to offer Juan Mata one more playing contract but declined as he wants to play regular football and has received offers from the MLS
  • AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid have expressed interest in Dalot over the last year. He is valued at around €25m by MUFC and unless they are offered a fee in that region he is due to be part of their squad next season.
  • Manchester United received a recent enquiry from a Spanish club about Diogo Dalot and informed them they were unprepared to negotiate for Dalot but would for Aaron Wan-Bissaka
  • Dean Henderson wants the Newcastle deal done early and there's been no indication so far that he should hang around. United are looking at options to replace him (Bachmann, Darlow) — He's a man in a hurry
  • Manchester United have offered Aaron Wan-Bissaka to at least one club ahead of the summer — he was informed he was not part of manager Erik ten Hag's plans last month whereas Diogo Dalot is
  • Manchester United is fit to sell right-footed full-back, Brandon Williams, this summer
  • Decisions have been made for Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe to leave

Henrikh Fecking Mikotargeryen refusing the club where manager believe in him to fight for his spot at Inter? Because he wanted CL? Isn’t he like 35?
He fulfilled his contract and wants to play CL for (probably) a last time. Very understandable if you ask me. Don’t know why you are so mad about it.

We'd accept 25m for Dalot and someone enquired but we told them to feck off as we're only interested in selling AWB?

I really hate the practice of putting the journalists question as part of the quoted answer.

I honestly think Lukaku to Chelsea may be a worse transfer than the Coutinho one.
It totally is. Coutinho is a quality player, just way over priced because the whole world knew the money Barca had at the time.

Lukaku was a donkey here, proved himself a mid table player and still Chelsea shelled out the big bucks. Clowns.

Unserious guy

There should be a special Lukaku clause on this loan about badge kissing/badge pointing. Every time he does that, Chelsea should be compensated few million.

What a joke. Has to be one of the worst transfers of all time. Imagine if this had happened at United.

to be fair to them, according to reports, they're seemingly trying to rectify it by moving him on - they made a mistake and are trying to fix it - we're still trying to make Maguire happen

No wonder the rumoured fee in potential Bayern transfer is so low. They can't really ask for an extreme fee in this case (low wage, and Mane is dead set on moving) risking losing him for free next summer.

Scored this evening, don't know what it is about Bergwijn but I reckon with consistent game time he can go up a level or two. I'm surprised United are not interested.
Ten hag is supposedly a big fan, so wouldn't be surprised if we do become interested

Yeah - I'd quite like him to stay, but I guess he wants a regular starting spot which he's unlikely to get at Spurs, and maybe also Spurs want his selling fee to add to their budget for other positions.

Highly doubt that tweet on Mane is true. He's a pretty stand-up guy, I can't see him saying something like that.

Probably taken out of context.

It does not make a difference if x player is better than y. If (that's a big if) Chelsea sells lukaku for even 60 million, he won't be anywhere close as Hazard or Coutinho.

Agreed. It's about the contribution and the outlay versus recoup value not whether either one is a 'quality player'.
