Who is this guy?

No idea on his reliability but he clearly gets a big kick out of denying every transfer rumour. Doesn't go to press conferences or anything, or seem to work for anyone..
He co-founded Stretty News TV, which is a YouTube channel about United, so my guess is that he has a source due to his work for that channel. He's been very reliable over the past couple of years.

Sport witness stuff is from this guy

Surely not?

This is way too much like that new fangled bollocks of targeting areas we are weak in and signing the right players to improve there that the likes of Liverpool and City get up to.

It's just not the Manchester United way.

100m for Neves :lol::wenger:
Every target seems to have a ridiculous price.

Didn’t they say a year ago they would listen to offers around £35m?

Feels like another “no value in the market” summer but I would be happy taking a risk on younger less established players with high potential

So how did City sign Aguero and Silva?
At that point City were a runaway train momentum-wise, it was obvious they'd become a CL mainstay within a year or two. United on the other hand are engulfed in uncertainty at the moment, nobody knows what the future might hold.

I think it's time that the constant pessimistic sniping at the club takes a bit of a break.

United linked to x

"Ho ho, we're fecking shit and run by clowns, he'd be mental to even consider coming here... etc"

I know right, it’s getting a bit much

gonna be a long summer if this keeps up

I know we're all jaded, our bitterest rivals are flourishing and we've been badly let down by club and players, but we've a new manager coming in that pretty much everyone wanted. He's highly thought of in football circles and exactly the sort of coach players might think can help them improve.

We're also the famous man United and that does still have a romantic appeal to many players.

We might all want to at least wait until ETH has started the job before judging anything.

Let's hope the team ages and they make a few errors in recruitment with their replacements.

Yes I'm clutching here rather badly but I need some slim hope

The German starting coach is expected to be appointed as the new team manager at the presidium on Friday.

EDIT: Added clarification from Plettenberg

From the article, Rangnick is currently considering being Austria's head coach. There is some speculation in the article that this head-coaching role means that Rangnick won't have time to commit to United, which is why they suggest that he'll sever his ties with United as a result.

EDIT: After Plettenberg's clarification, Wheeler's Tweet is definitely speculative at best and bordering on being incorrect about Rangnick's United future.

EDIT 2: Whitwell Tweet

Rangnick out, Mitchell in?

Very underwhelmed by Ralf's time at United so far. Wouldn't mourn him taking the Austria job.

Austria seems a more natural fit to follow his previous spell in Russia.

Aw, I'm sure the cult of Rangnick will be gutted considering the stellar job he's done at United.

Agreed. Would it make even a dent, would anyone notice, if we lost his part-time consultancy role? Who cares in the slightest?

Thanks for making a mediocre team a mediocre team, Ralf, its been a pleasure.

there is no reason why he can't do both

Ralph's directness and honest approach is gonna be useful for us in the next period, he just cuts right through the bull-shit

Its very wearing. Especially when you consider we have loads of evidence it’s not true.

It's not been great, but the behind-the-scenes 'club-building' stuff (rather than coaching) is the thing he's actually renowned for.

He can probably combine the two roles as neither job is really fulltime all year round.

Exactly it’s like negativity Is the new thing. It’s becoming boring. I’ve also noted that a lot of it is from people just promoted or still newbies
