Straight from the book where everyone should learn that cyberbullying someone for their look is not okay. Sheesh, do better!

Childish as feck isn't it. Seems a lot of people can't help but comment on how other people look.

20m

Can you imagine losing 6-8 players and then having a budget of 20m to replenish with? Don't believe this for a single second, even without CL.

Plenty of players available on freebies and a fair few with 1 year left on their deals. Sell a few and shop smartly and we can improve the starting 11.

It would be hilarious if Ole's gamble with the board was to get Sancho and Varane in for this season and with the size of squad that this window would be 20 mil net and thats all they can commit to now.

I don't see an announcement Tweet on here, so...

Ten Hag's contract will go until 2025 with an additional year as an option.

  • Bayern Munich are also interested in Kornad Laimer.
  • Laimer won't talk about possibly moving on until this season is over.

No release clause activation doesn't necessarily mean that we got him without a fee.

EDIT: Additional info

How the hell could you possibly know that? Stop spreading bullshit.
Some things are very apparent from a distance as well... He has zero qualification or experience to be Technical Director at United except nepotism.

What is defined as Technical Director, please let us know.

Because from what I can tell, Fletcher is a liason for Murtough and sees everything in training and in matches along side the manager. Which helps with squad planning for first team and academy players. It is a real time assessment that first team manager doesn't always communicate with the Football Director, in this case Murtough.

Every image or article that discusses Murtough has a say with Fletcher supporting him. So he sits between the playing squads and the person overseeing the football ops.

So far today Daily Mail say 20mil, Mirror says 200mil and Jamie Jackson just said for Guardian we don't have much at all.

The 20mil one is obviously not true, we turned down 12mil in January for Lingard who was on high wages and not playing.

He is there only because of Sir Alex, we need to move away from that.
There's your answer.
He’s the fecking technical director for petes sake. We have absolutely no idea what his remit and job responsibilities are (because the club hasn’t specified, just before that becomes Darren’s fault too.) He’s only on the bench assisting Rangnick because our club is such an absolute shambles that we had no Plan B when Ole went pear shaped. When are we going to end this perpetual witch hunt?
You don’t know Sir Alex had anything at all to do with his appointment, and on that basis I assume you oppose Steve McClaren working under ETH too? The dreaded United DNA?!! Give me strength!

Darren Fletcher himself has explained what his role is.

For what its worth he would be qualified for it. No idea why posters love complaining about him.

That's what the caf is for, no?

and what is that role?
I'm gonna keep saying this until I'm blue in the face.

Fletcher has all the credentials necessary to do the job he's been hired to do, having played for the club for many years.

His role is to bridge the gap between the youth team and the first team, identify players who have the right mindset to play for the club in first team capacity. It is also his job to also identify if players we are looking to purchase as a transfer from another team for the first team if they too have the right mindset for the first team. That's his role.

Literally no one else from outside the club can do this role other than ex-players.

Sounds like a madeup role tbh, not sure most top clubs have this role.

His JD sounds like stuff the head of recruitment, DOF and Head Coach should be dealing with.

Why should they be doing it if someone else can do it and it enables the people in those positions to concentrate on other tasks?
