It doesn't really make sense though as they're currently cutting their wage bill like there's no tomorrow and I would imagine Sir Phil would be at the very top of that.

LindelofNo he’s not, defensively very good just has made the odd error but name me a PL defender who hasn’t.
We do but Bailly and especially Jones are hardly options since they are always injured...Our defenders are injury prone, we need options at the back.
yeah I'm just hoping the periods where they're injured don't overlap. We do but Bailly and especially Jones are hardly options since they are always injured...
The odd error loads of times stops becoming an odd error.
Tell me you don’t watch Villa without telling me don’t watch Villa.Lindelof
You don’t lose a chance of selling a JonesOur defenders are injury prone, we need options at the back.
They’re not offering to buy him, it’s a loan. If we are going to sell him or loan him, he would expect either a nice package to leave to cover the drastic drop in wages or most of his wages to be covered. Makes no sense. Just keep him as a back up.You don’t lose a chance of selling a Jones
So a team that has Salah, Mane and Jota as options move to bring in Diaz, whereas we continue to limp on with McFred.
This club has zero ambition, feck off.
To be fair we bought Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo in the summer..
6 month loan.We're... actually going to get money for him?
Where did you read that? The tweets don't mention a loan6 month loan.

They're only covering 25% of his wages....If RR can get money for Jones he should be given a 5 year contract.
I just looked to his stats. They are very good this year only and he is 25 already. I am not saying he will flop but he is not as sure thing as make it out. That's the net salary, his gross works out to approximately £150k per week, which seems reasonable pay for a player expected to be a regular starter in top 3 PL side like Liverpool, and he is a 25 yo, signed to 5yr deal, so you will have him for the best part of his prime years.
Ronaldo was also "cheaper" than Dan JamesCheaper than a Dan James
Also Lewandowski and soon Mbappe. See how pointless this is?Cheaper than a Dan James
No. We have Elanga to get the mins.Considering we’re likely to lose Lingard along with Martial and Diallo before the end of the window as well as clearing VDB and 25% of Jones from the wage bill, you’d wonder if he’d be worth a punt.
No. I'm calling Arsenal or New Castle.Considering we’re likely to lose Lingard along with Martial and Diallo before the end of the window as well as clearing VDB and 25% of Jones from the wage bill, you’d wonder if he’d be worth a punt.
It’s be more the right hand side since Rashford and Sancho have been patchy. Also Cavani goes at the end of the season, possibly Ronaldo too, would it be a cost effective investment? No. We have Elanga to get the mins.
Definitely Newcastle would be looking for their Robinho. Not so sure on Arsenal. I suppose if Auba goes the other way it’s be like for like with wages.No. I'm calling Arsenal or New Castle.
