Good. Inter still owe us like 50 odd million for the initial transfer on top of that as well.
Into the whiteThat has come out of the blue.
Yes. Everton seemed a strange fit to me. Always saw him of a big team, big player manager. Not someone who could build a team.Into the white
I wonder did he think there was going to be more money available than there was at Everton or is madrid just too much of a pullYes. Everton seemed a strange fit to me. Always saw him of a big team, big player manager. Not someone who could build a team.
Not sure. How much money do Real have and there is a bit of a rebuild needed there. Be interesting to see what happens with Varane now.I wonder did he think there was going to be more money available than there was at Everton or is madrid just too much of a pull
I am presuming by they you don't mean us.They will be all over Grealish after the Euros.
The Everton chairman had courted him for years but I think they had an agreement if a giant club came inI wonder did he think there was going to be more money available than there was at Everton or is madrid just too much of a pull
Reckon he stays now. Unless they replace him with KeaneNot sure. How much money do Real have and there is a bit of a rebuild needed there. Be interesting to see what happens with Varane now.
From what I've seen, Grealish plays a similar role to Foden except his is more of a creative role. If City do bring Grealish in, then either he or Foden take de Bruyne's place in the starting XI (whether regularly or otherwise). Another approach could involve either de Bruyne or Grealish playing regularly as a false 9 with Foden on the left and either Bernardo Silva or Mahrez on the right wing. They will be all over Grealish after the Euros.
Honestly when you read these quotes you can't help but wonder what the point is? City are a joke.
Sam Lee in the Athletic suggested City could move on from Mahrez or Sterling. Sterling is apparently unhappy with his role so he could replace one of them. Both have two years left on their current deals might be time to cash in now. From what I've seen, Grealish plays a similar role to Foden except his is more of a creative role. In either setup, both Gundogan and Rodri have to play.
City will look to invest in at least two key areas this window and are looking at Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish as a potential signing.
That's fine. I was more so seeing him as a Sterling replacement, who's spent most of his time on the bench. There's a chance that he could be in and out of the starting XI like Bernardo Silva is at the moment and Mahrez before that. My money's on Sterling leaving mainly because of his inconsistent end product whilst Mahrez still offers value as a right winger. Grealish will most likely spend time on the left instead of the right, but if they're spending big money on him, then they have to play him more often.Sam Lee in the Athletic suggested City could move on from Mahrez or Sterling. From the Telegraph article on Kane.
Fabio Quagliarella will play for another year.
He's still a pretty good player. Despite his age, he's scored 13 goals in the Serie A for a defensive Sampdoria team with several of them being spectacular goals. It's no wonder that Sampdoria decided to keep him in for an extra year. What a player he was back in the day.
For English football those City quotes are pretty fecking grim aren't they. "you thought we made it look easy last season, just you wait, we've not even started!!!".
Good stuff.
We have finally gotten a bit competent on transfers.
As reported by Paco González
In the template of Real Madrid there will be very little changes next season
They would only make a big signing and it would be at the end of August after several sales
They believe that Ramos, Varane and Isco will leave
They count on Bale, Hazard and Marcelo to continue
Its happened before but certainly he would be comming back to mostly the same squad. I dont think that would work out .This makes sense. Why would he go back to a club that just sacked him.
