Do we know that Ole isn’t sanctioning sales? Genuine question
I feckin hope so! But why would he play Lingard for 5 mins risking injury if he was actually planning to sell him? And he's about the only one we can sell. Unless we sell James (highly doubtful), Dalot (maybe) or Donny (prefer not to)

Douglas Costa replacement rather? Anyway I don't see it happening.
But then I said the same for Sabitzer which seems to be happening.
Perhaps, but I don't know how effective he'd be on the right (despite what Plettenberg has said). He's been better when he'd come in from the left or through the middle, kind of like Sabitzer. Anyways, let's see if this even develops.

We don’t know anything simply as we are not in United’s board room. We do know that we read that Ole likes and wants to keep players that could be sold. Like James, as we have read only last week, who has a market value of about £25m who Ole has informed suitors will not be sold.

if we could a prime Keane and Scholes into our mid field now would he take it ? Neither were cdms. If we had 2 top quality 8s I wouldn't care about a cdm . we need creativity from deep

Ronaldo obsessed with trying to one-up Messi as usual by joining the better state-owned club. He's a cnut if he stabs Fergie in the back like that.

Some people like to paint him as the vain, egotistical anti-Messi. I like to think he wouldn't go to City, and understands what it would mean if he did, but other United legends have.

Was it different for United fans, say when Schmeichel did it back when City were crap? I would imagine it's much worse doing it now than back then.

Nowhere, thats just wild guessing. He hasnt had any problem of letting players go in the past (without even getting any replacement even) so it seems kinda strange...

What? Greenwood has taken a couple of years to get to this stage plus he is in a different position..
And? Camavinga is older than Greenwood when he came into the team. Position has nothing to do with it. If you’re good enough, you can play. There’s a reason top clubs are chasing Camavinga.

Cannot wait for a hearty chorus of Viva Ronaldo at OT if he moves to City.

I think we will end up with Rice while Lingard is going the other way. It is just a stand off. Convenient that both teams are linked to alternatives (Vlasic to West Ham and Saul to United).

Can't help but feel that there are a few prominent names on Twitter for whom the transfer window is their busiest time of the year trying to eek out a few more clicks by using our name where possible.

Even if slightly true, I think we're done for the window. Can't see anyone going or coming in at this point.

I wonder where are West Ham getting the 30M from for Zouma unless they are selling Rice? Aren’t they apparently broke and couldn’t even afford Lingard?

I don't think they are broke - just don't want to pay £25m (plus salary) for Lingard when he'll be 29 in a few months and only has a year left on his deal. Who can blame them, really.

Nah, it wasn't great then either. Massively disappointing regardless of City's fortunes. It's still City.
