EDIT: Additional context - Tebas was announcing the ratification of the CVC financing deal for La Liga after all but 4 of the members approved of the deal. He may have been asked about PSG during that press conference.

For Dan James's ability level and what we paid for him he's delivered more for us than what Pogba has his ability level and transfer fee.
It can happen. He will be in the last year of his 20’s then and a year less on his deal. United’s #1 target will surely be a Striker. I can only see the player going to United or CityHis price would need to seriously drop. United just doesn't come as club ready to splash 100m+ that easily. Haaland could give us many more years.
Official: Norwich City sign 19-year-old Greek Winger Christos Tzolis.
With Murtough aboard perhaps this might be easier than it looks now, the only question is if United's policy under Ole is to spend 100m on a player who's about to enter his 30's. Kane's definitely player to think about, even if Levy would absolutely hate him going to league rivals. It can happen. He will be in the last year of his 20’s then and a year less on his deal. That's right. The Greek media linked him to us briefly a year or so ago.Is he the one we were linked with at some point?
The original Garner Tweet from what @MUFC OK posted earlier:
The Mengi contract extension talks went in a similar manner. Mengi himself also considered his options before finally committing to United.
Is there anyone remotely notable reporting this? A Freelancer and Football Insider (?) reporting it on Twitter but no one else. I mean its not completely unbelievable, he could have had his head turned or he's just playing poker for a better deal but ir'd be interesting to know for sure.
This will be the flip side of stacking up on promising youth players.
Unfortunately, no one else has, not even Whitwell, Luckhurst, and Rich Fay. With that said, he used to work for Sky Sports back when they were more reliable, so he may have his sources. He also reported on the Laird-to-Swansea loan links before Whitwell did today, so he does have sources. Let's see how this develops, though. Is there anyone remotely notable reporting this? FFP really is dead
Yeah, I should have added more context. Tebas was talking after La Liga voted on the new CVC financing deal for their league. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Real Oviedo voted against the deal and, thus, have opted out of receiving money as part of the deal. He was probably asked about Messi and PSG during the press conference and answered accordingly. What this all aboot?
It seems vaguely threatening but kind of devoid of context.

To continue:
Oh boy.
It's all unprovoked, too, and he's trying very hard to show that City aren't just overspending.Ducker yet again going out of his way to mention City's incoming fees. Weird.
Official: José Giménez extends his stay with Atletico Madrid.
@antohan Thoughts? I think he's made the right choice in continuing with them.
Yeah, I was very excited by his emergence. I hope that his injury troubles are behind and he asserts himself as one of the top CBs in the world. Simeone will definitely give him time to establish himself and not necessarily oust him.Absolutely. Right club and manager for him, more so with his injury record. He is no Phil Jones, but hasn't played 30 games (all comps) more than twice in a decade.
Simeone sure values what he gets in the 20+ ones he does play in and plans/hires around that, but managers at other clubs are hardly going to go all out to sign someone likely to miss half the games in a season. Shame, as he was by all means one of the standout CBs of his generation.
I've thought for a while quite a few journalists are being handed brown envelopes by Abu Dhabi to give City some good press.Ducker yet again going out of his way to mention City's incoming fees. Weird.
I think he means another after that and then maybe a surprise ? TBH I thought we were done after Varane. Let's see , this is exciting . Back on the muppet train so Chooo Chooo !!!
Real interest for Insigne comes from Everton, where Rafa Benitez is, and from Zenit St. Petersburg, and it’s necessary to verify how much Inter can do seriously. Inter made it clear that they were there with transversal messages.
Bayern Munich have yet to submit an offer for him despite being interested.According to Toulouse's president in La Dépêche du Midi [Toulouse news outlet], [there are] two offers [from a] top 5 and top 15 European club for Amine Adli:
- Troyes (Man. City's partner club - 8 million Euros + 2 million Euros in bonuses
- Wolfsburg (10 million Euros + 2 million Euros in bonuses)
The player declined both approaches.
You just know it is gonna happen, don't you? (Kane to City)
