Also look at the treatment Carrick 'the crab' and Rooney got. Ronaldo was getting a lot of abuse in 04 and many were wanting him sold, calling him a one trick pony with no end product. The racist abuse our own fans have levelled at the likes of Young and Lukaku on platforms like Twitter is awful but sadly predictable. Think Ben Foster interviewed Cleverley recently and I'm sure he touched on this, saying how much grief he got and how it affected him.

Our fans also gave Fergie tons of stick around the same time. Vividly recall him being called a dinosaur by our own supporters.

A club as big and successful as ours is going to get a large amount of followers and these followers are different to fans. There's no community or cultural connection to the club so it's purely about winning. If the team isn't winning then it has zero use to these people, they need a winning team so they can make more tiktom videos and 'banter' people online. That's where their enjoyment of football comes from. We have an embarrassingly bad fan base, overall, but I think that is just a by product of being a huge club. The likes of Barca etc probably have similar sections of their fan base.

The majority of fans I meet in person are the complete opposite of this, online people can say what they want with little or no repercussions so that’s generally why so much rubbish gets posted.

Which is the same for any large club.

Because you can't judge players equally. For Dan James's ability level and what we paid for him he's delivered more for us than what Pogba has his ability level and transfer fee. That doesn't mean he's a better player. He's just used what he has more.

James is a perfectly good squad player. I don't understand the flack he gets on here one bit.
I agree, hes a perfectly good squad player and gets way too much flack on here.

It's not flack. I said he has no end product, which is true.

No end product yet scored 7 and got 6 assists from limited first team appearances? That doesn't make sense. He clearly does then doesn't he?

5 lines saying nothing, use of smilies and a guy that said he was done 3 posts ago desperately trying to get the last word, all classic signs of the Caf poster with a hard on for a player and allergic to facts, I'm starting to wonder if you're that Ricky goof from YouTube. I'm not anti James ya snowflake, I'm pro Manchester United and he's not good enough to be at the club, it's as factually obvious as that.
Good to know.

Unfortunately its not 'factually obvious', its merely your opinion, which has been shown to be of little merit to anyone else but yourself, but carry on regardless as it's amusing me.

I remember seeing loads of hit pieces on United saying what a shame it was that United had to buy Pogba for such a big fee. Will we see any for Chelsea splurging on Lukaku?
Why? Lukaku needs to score 20-25 goals and that shuts everyone up.

Is that you Ricky? This kinda dumb surely can't exist in 2 people.

Unfortunately like a lot of society these days there is no patience, if a player isn’t a world beater from the off, week in week out they lose interest and write them off, I like James, like said above he gives his all and has talent, see where he is in a few years then pass judgment
Im sorry, i dont like to be negative. But i really cant see James being a top player for us. He has speed and work rate, yes. But he's end product, finishing, passing is really bad. Feels kind of sorry for him, because he is trying hard.

He had 3 league goals in 15 last year and 3 league goals in 33 the year before. Yes, he has no end product.

A fast player tirelessly working for the team but decision making and finishing is not part of his strong suit.

Well yes. Bale, Marcelo and Isco are off the books next year. That's around €60M in savings. If we can shed some more fat(asensio, odegaard, brahim, ceballos, jovic, etc), why not. Mbappé on a free might cost in the region of €60/70M a year, Halaand would cost around €60/70M a year(fees+wages), that's more than doable
Mbappe supposedly doesn’t want to play with Messi, how will he play with a huge ego like Haaland

Atlético Madrid are serious about #thfc target Dušan Vlahović. They have offered €50M + add-ons for the striker.

I think from his point of view its the right move when shit players like Mata,Perreira and useless James can get a chance infront of him then there is no point in staying.Mejbri should also do the same.
A kid who hasn't shown anything at senior level yet.

Garner isn’t some young Golden Boy winner himself, I doubt that’s his attitude.

I agree, I dont see him breaking through any time soon and am happy for him to find that elsewhere.

I mean, he doesn't play in the same position as any of those players, but otherwise, sound logic.

Mejbri should almost definitely leave right away, he's clearly ready to be a regular at Madrid or City, he's silly to wasting away at a club that regularly brings through more youth talent than everyone else.

If I was an 8 year old at United right now, I'd be getting my agent to speak to other clubs.

Garner should leave because of 3 players who play in different positions to him, one of whom hasn't played for the club in over a year, and none of whom are first choice?

He heard of that North London interest and asked his agent to do all he can to stay
