FFP really is dead
I'm not sure it is an unpopular opinion now, he hasn't shown much to suggest he will make it at Man Utd.Unpopular opinion but I really don't think he's good enough anyway.
FFP really is dead
At 19 Carrick played 33 games in a PL season for West Ham. He'd played approx 200 PL games for West Ham and Spurs by the time he joined us. Players don't just come good at that age without plenty of games at a high level. As it stands he isn't, in a couple of years he very well could be. Carrick only came into his own 23/24, some players take longer, the Watford loan didn't help.
Spurs fans should revolt if Levy turns down 150M for himI can't see Haaland joining United, simply cannot visualise it.
Gut feeling says Kane will stay at Spurs with fractured relations with City. Then United will swoop next Summer for around £90-100m as our marquee signing.
£128m - if its up front they should accept that.Spurs fans should revolt if Levy turns down 150M for him
If you think this club would pay £90-100m for a 29 year old fairly injury prone player, I have a bridge to sell to you.I can't see Haaland joining United, simply cannot visualise it.

I am very happy to return to Italy. I chose Empoli because it is a great place and a great club. I tell the fans that I am very excited: I can’t wait to get on the pitch.
No worries, let's start from the basics...I can't see Haaland joining United, simply cannot visualise it.

Real Madrid will offer €120M for Mbappe. If PSG says no, assumption will be that he arrives for free next summer. Mbappe's environment says that on Monday he will report on his future.
He wants [a move] away [from Leipzig]. We have talked about it. When he came to Leipzig (from Trabzonspor), the message was that he would be bet on as a centre-forward. But then a lot of good things happened in the New Year. He really made his mark and played well, especially with Yussuf Poulsen and Emil Forsberg. They had great success together. Suddenly Leipzig started playing a little differently. The team was defensively oriented. You have to accept that. But then it became far from the words that were said early. I think about playing time and my role as a centre-forward. He felt a little bit about it.
[When asked about links to other teams, with some of them also named]
That’s a lot of nice names. And as long as there are good clubs in that segment there, I believe in all the rumours. You can write that. Alexander wants to play football. He’s not doing this just to sit and look at his account. He wants to see how far he can go, how far he can push this. At the same time, he has a lot of thoughts about the Norwegian national team.
[TV2 asked whether Alexander will definitely leave Leipzig]
150 percent sure.
There's no way he would be a starter at City, who obviously have such an amazing track record with bringing through youth.I mean, he doesn't play in the same position as any of those players, but otherwise, sound logic.
Mejbri should almost definitely leave right away, he's clearly ready to be a regular at Madrid or City, he's silly to wasting away at a club that regularly brings through more youth talent than everyone else.
If I was an 8 year old at United right now, I'd be getting my agent to speak to other clubs.
I think you missed the sarcasm in that post. Which was in response to a ridiculous post from the poster asking Mjebri to leave United. There's no way he would be a starter at City, who obviously have such an amazing track record with bringing through youth.

Let's start again. Who will be the main striker at United if not Haaland ? ... because that's truly hard for to visualise. Cavani most likely going after this season and Greenwood will probably need at least one additional goalscorer there... Martial ?I just see a Real Madrid player photoshopped into an old United kit.

Someone from the academy could be life saving and would save us tons of funds, however after Cavani feels like we'll need to get absolutely right man for that role, mentally strong too plus preferably not in the end of his career.Other strikers will have good seasons and emerge as players of interest.
Otherwise, maybe we would play Greenwood, Rashford, Martial, Hugill as our striker options.
Could then play Sancho LW, Amad RW. Or get another wide forward if striker isn’t available and Cavani leaves.
Well, as I said, I can imagine Kane here. Not this summer, but nextLet's start again. Who will be the main striker at United if not Haaland ? ... because that's truly hard for to visualise. I think this might be worth it if we actually bring in a new young midfielder like Camavinga into the team. I wouldn't be surprised if Garner is waiting to see what United have planned for the midfield role before deciding on his future. I'd rather have this than see Garner leave as a free agent, anyways, like Angel Gomes did.I think Garner’s a very good young player, but if he’s turning down contract offers we should consider selling him and inserting a sell-on fee. City, Chelsea and Liverpool make a fortune doing that.
His price would need to seriously drop. United just doesn't come as club ready to splash 100m+ that easily. Haaland could give us many more years.Well, as I said, I can imagine Kane here. Not this summer, but next
