I agree with others Axel is a good player but he's 23 going on 24 years of age.

If he's not good enough now then when will he be, I can only see the loan serving as a purpose of driving up his transfer fee, a good loan spell and he could be in demand.

Yeah, just feck off. And who exactly are they selling for 100m ?
I really wouldn't pay much attention to it, Kane will cost way over 150m and that's if they agree to sell.
Grealish will cost way over 100m and again if Villa keep him 1 more season his value will go up and more clubs will have more money.

Are you really saying players dont improve after the age of 23?

No but for his own development he needs to be playing regular at 23 years of age.

He's not going to get that at United given we look likely to invest heavily in an area already packed out with players.

Everyone else is trying to raise over £100m in the market yet we are trying to loan everyone. Axel should be sold, insert a buy-back if you must, but he can fetch us a good fee. He and Williams could fetch close to £30m. Chelsea just sold Guehi for about £18m ffs.

Chelsea is up to £58M in player sales right now and probably three or four more players going.

So quiet on any outgoings from our club.

Should sell Lingard, Andreas atleast by now.

And then there are others like dalot, james Henderson/de gea/pogba etc.. on whom call needs to be taken.
I think I saw Andreas in some of the training pics and I did a doubletake. I thought we finally got rid last summer! Was he on loan the whole season?

Yeah I think he was on loan at Lazio didn't work out for him there either way he needs to be sold this summer as he won't be getting game time and we could get some decent money for him.

he’s just not that good. He could develop but wont be here because lindelof bailly maguire and then the new centre half are all ahead of him.

realistically, he should be sold i think. He’ll forever be a benchwarmer here. Dias is 24 and thats a marker of the level Axel needs to be by now to be a starter at a top 4 team. He just isnt the level of a starting centre back for man utd and i dont think he ever will be. Question marks over fitness as well.

The question is HOW good? Manchester United selling a ‘good player’ isn’t abnormal. There are plenty of good players who are surplus at top clubs, and I think Axel may well be in that category. He’s going on 24 now and barely gets a game here.

If we need to sell to buy, we need to not deceive ourselves and think the only player we are happy to sacrifice is Phil Jones. Some ‘good’ players should go, and I’d start with the ones who play about 5 games a season and have 5 senior pros ahead of them.
Exactly. Well said. I think he should leave for the benefit of his career and he can possibly go on to do something similar to Keane at Everton.

I think Utd will make some good money this summer.
Dalot or Telles
Pereira
Lingard
Maybe a GK.
I'd be shocked if Matic stays if we sign a CM.
Then there's Pogba or Martial,

chelseas position is a joke. Looking through their squad on transfermarkt there are a good 15 or 16 players they could get sell or get off the wage bill without touching their core

They could easily raise £80m without touching any of their core like you said. Players like Barkley, RLC, Tammy could all fetch up to £25m minimum each.

Here's to hoping but you're probably right we won't get anything near £10m anything near it will be good.
If we were offered anything more than 5M I would say the deal is subject to close scrutiny for money laundering/corruption of some sort. (I am not a fan of the lad)

Theres also players like emerson zappacosta bakayoko who could fetch modest fees as well. And some youngsters like Ampadu and Gallagher who will command decent transfer fees if they want to sell or decent loan fees.

i laugh that people like Baba, Miazga and Musonda are still there too!

Barcelona are finished.

Messi is no longer capable of winning them major honours on his own, and Barcelona cannot afford to provide him with a suitable supporting cast. They need him to leave to stand even a chance of being a top side again.

I hope we get them in the CL next season, we owe them one and could give them a hiding.

Official: Tadic stays at Ajax despite some interest from Milan. He has added another year to his contract, which will now go until June 30, 2024.

Official: Ajax have purchased Steven Berghuis from Feyenoord.

Berghuis will sign a 4-year contract.

Luckhurst also talked about the prospect of Telles leaving but didn't clearly say whether United are willing to loan him out or not and didn't necessarily reveal any info other than the fact that Mourinho isn't being consulted about the Telles transfer.

Except that he would likely be a back up player there now with Mings and Konsa

I don't think it's out of the question that Axel could come in for Konsa. Most Villa fans seem to think they need another cb, whether it's for cover or a starter.

If Telles is leaving, then we are definitely getting a full back. Trippier, who seems to be able to play both on the left and right, seems to be the frontrunner, which I guess would make sense.

Not impossible but highly unlikely- Konsa was probably better than Mings last season.

Galatasaray are interested in Michaël Cuisance, but they haven't submitted an offer yet.

Yeah, just feck off. And who exactly are they selling for 100m ?
Angelino, Harrison, Sancho sell on, Ilic, Herrera, Braaf, Nmecha. If Grealish signs then Bernardo leaves, if Kane signs then Jesus is likely to join Juve. That should be around £180m from sales.
