Chelsea buying all the young talent at a time when due to a pandemic most of the large players can't afford the spend. It's smart and completely disgusting.
If Chelsea offer 175m for him, he’s leaving plain and simple. Unless he personally doesn’t want to. But you get the feeling that a player is going to have warm and fuzzy feelings over a club that’s willing to show that level of faith in his talent. Dortmund can only get 100m less for him next summer, that’s far too much for them to walk away from. They’ll sing the same tune until that offer comes in.
If you look at the history of mega transfers, they rarely prove to be good investments. Harland is clearly a top tier talent but 175m on anyone, especially in this climate, is just madness. And regardless of how good Haaland appears to be, he’s going to find the step up from BL to PL huge.
Surely if Chelsea pay 175 million euros, then release clause would be upwards of it.Supposedly Haalands camp want a release clause (much higher than the one next summer though) if he should go to Chelsea and they arent very fond of that.
Official: Real Sociedad sign Brighton goalkeeper Matt Ryan.
I would bet you they will get pretty close to that. Abraham and Hudson Odoi will be seen as top signings wherever they go.
Abraham, in particular, will be seen as marquee for a Villa or West Ham.

Remember that brief period of time when he scored a goal and people thought he was better than Evra?

Scored on his debut didn't he, against Wigan, I remember it well, thought a star had been born! Nick Powell scored in the same game

A release clause for a player you sign for £175mil is ridiculous. Riola's greed is unbelievable. I bet he will want the release clause to scale down with the number of years remaining on the contract. Chelsea should say fine £350mil release clause you greedy cnut. That would scare off anyone from thinking of paying it.Supposedly Haalands camp want a release clause (much higher than the one next summer though) if he should go to Chelsea and they arent very fond of that.
£175m would be £200m plus once you’ve given Raiola his ridiculous cut. Then you’ve got the wages to pay. It almost becomes a Neymar level deal. Even someone as talented as Haaland is a gamble at that price. I’d hate to see him go to Chelsea, but it’s better than if he went to City. If he goes there we might as well pack up and go home.
This is exactly what's it gonna be like, loads of add ons and his wages will be huge and don't be surprised if that release clause suddenly is alot higher, Dortmund are sneaky like that. You lot are acting like Haaland will cost £70m for real next summer. In reality, his clause will be £70m to release him from Dortmund while Raiola will want to have £30 million to push him towards your club once the bidding war ensues, and Haaland and his dad will want to have a nice signing in bonus to sign for club x over y and z, which will probably cost another £30-40m on top of the £100m you’ve already paid Dortmund and Raiola.
Look, it’s about time we start signing players I’ve become attached to on FM. Usually they go to fecking Chelsea or Spurs.Thierry Small is another one who has borderline world class potential in FM if you develop him right. Camavinga, Moriba, Small? Murtough clearly a fan of the series

I was absolutely sure Nick Powell would be the next big thing for us. Now he plays for Stoke. Just like with James Wilson (League Two Port Vale). Us fans get easily excited.Scored on his debut didn't he, against Wigan, I remember it well, thought a star had been born! Nick Powell scored in the same game
Is Three the company name? ….is that the most generic company name ever? Been puzzled but never looked up what that 3 logo meant
