Haven’t you seen the memo?

Bad news = definitely real.

Good news = must be rubbish.
More like

Fabrizio Romano = definitely real, even if his source is his own podcast/twitch stream

Anyone else = must be rubbish

Official: Sweden international and former Bundesliga player Robin Quaison joins Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

Now this is a surprise to me. I always thought that he looked decent for Mainz in the Bundesliga.

  • Rui Patricio fee: 11 million Euros
  • Roma will wait for Arsenal to sign Xhaka's replacement before completing the deal for Xhaka.
    • Roma already have an agreement with the player.
    • Arsenal's primary Xhaka replacement: Ruben Neves
      • Locatelli prefers Juventus.

Since Schalke got relegated, former Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic can leave for a small or no fee. Fiorentina are looking into bringing him back as a result.

  • Calabria will earn 2 million Euros per year + bonuses (totals after taxes)
  • Milan's backup right back options:
    • Diogo Dalot: awaiting United's willingness to send Dalot out on loan again
    • Alvaro Odriozola of Real Madrid
    • Serge Aurier of Tottenham, but a loan deal will be difficult

Hilarious.

But we (as in the CAF) took that ridiculous Pogba tweet seriously didn’t we!:lol::lol:

Never change CAF, never change.
20-30% of members don't represent the entire CAF. This is how forums are supposed to work. If everyone has a similar point of view then there will be no room for discussions.

But ...but...but Chelsea are great at selling and get massive amounts of money for their cast offs ....
He turns 35 next year and is in the final year of his contract. Not sure what you expect.

I get that, but there’s a repeated pattern when it comes to news on here and it never fails to make me laugh

Yes it’s rather damning of our recruitment in the DM position.

He’s not Kante, never has been, never will be. He needs and has always needed to be partnered with a top DM.

This being news to some at this stage is embarrassing.

I still find the whole debate so tiring. Pogba can be caught on the ball. He sometimes gives it away. Yet, so do Fred and McTominay. He’s still a better CM than either of them.

Would I rather he had a Rice, Kante, Makelele, Ndidi in there with him? Of course. But that is a criticism of Fred and McTominay not Pogba.

He's 35 very soon, to get any fee at all is reasonable

To be fair, you extended his contract just so you could get a fee for him.

I would have expected him to go for more though!

No, because 1) he'd reject sitting on the bench for another year and walk for free, 2) he'd be turning 36 and 3) far from guaranteed a club wants him at that stage for any fee let alone 1-2m.

They got a fee and that's not bad given the dynamics. They are almost always very good on resale.

Is that not what I said?!?

I expect a midfielder to track back every-time when an opposition player makes a run. Pogba doesn't always do it; so easy goals are sometimes conceded. That's my main complaint.
