If that's the destination we can definitely compete. I can see a huge hole in all of PSGs midfield, but surely United is a bigger draw? Real Madrid I could understand, but come on.

I don’t know mate, but they want 100M for him allegedly and I cannot see us spunking that sum of money on him

I just wanted to work harder this season, and I’m happy to be rewarded with this award.

Arsenal is my dream club. It’s the club I support, that I like to watch and whose style of play I like. However, I am still in Belgium and I am still a Genk player.

As expected, Dani Ceballos is going back to Real Madrid.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out... About 10 good games in 2 years is clearly not enough to pull the trigger. Way too inconsistent but i'm sure he will find a club in La Liga and regain some form.

Banged them in for fun at Genk who finished 2nd this season -- about 35~ goals in 40 or so games in all comps, but he's about 6ft8. Genk will certainly let him go for the right price, but I'd be extremely surprised if it's a club close to Arsenal's level.

TOP season and renewal. Everything has been agreed between Atlético de Madrid and Marcos Llorente who will expand their ties to the rojiblancos. Right now he has a contract until 2024. Official in the coming weeks.

This is more than just an article about Buendia. It also includes Mike McGrath's transfer notebook. Key points:
  • Buendia's price can go up to 40 million Pounds.
  • Arsenal have yet to formally approach Norwich for Buendia.
  • Arsenal's Buendia pursuit depends on Odegaard's potential future with Arsenal.
    • Arteta quotes:
We have tried to make everything that we could to get Martin performing for the team, which I think he has done. He has adapted really well to our way of playing and to our football club. Hopefully we have given him the hope and the feeling that this could be a good place for him.
    • Another loan may be possible for Odegaard.
  • Atlético de Madrid have offered Trippier a contract extension.
    • Trippier's contract will expire in 2 years.

Grealish to City > Buendia to Villa? Makes sense on paper - pretty similar players.

Buendia plus mainly on the right. Grealish off the left.

Jeremiah St. Juste wants to leave Mainz. In addition to Bayer Leverkusen, as recently from Sport1, reports also show Borussia Dortmund's interest. There have already been initial talks between consultants and Borussia [Dortmund]. But everything is still at the beginning. Mainz wants € 15-20 million.

Fair point! Both together would go some way to get Villa to consolidate themselves a serious top half side.

Dave strikes me as the sort of player that will take a pay cut to play.

It depends on how much he wants to be back in Spain. Now he has a kid to think about it wouldn't be overly surprising to see him take a pay cut.

So Koeman stays?
We don't know. These signings could have been OK'd by the directors and board regardless of Koeman's future with the club. They're at a crossroads especially after the recent elections, and I think that Laporta will probably start making an impact beyond this summer.

Roma have been getting linked to tons of players just because Mourinho's their manager.

I don't know where I read that one of Mbappé's conditions to renew was the signing of Camavinga. Hopefully not the case
Mbappe would be a fool to renew his contract with PSG, while wanting to go Real Madrid (which he can easily do next season).

El Correo is a local Basque newspaper, so they could have sources at Alavés, which is a Basque club.

I haven't watched much of him. But living in Wolverhampton, fans consensus seems to be he doesn't move enough and a bit lazy. If true, wouldn't go down well here.
I've been saying similar for well over a year. I hope we steer clear, and I have said in the past that Wolves would sell for £30m. So I'm not surprised with the price tag put forth by The Athletic.

EDIT (not included in the article): AC Milan and Napoli are also continuing to monitor him.

That soon, eh?

I also wonder how he'll fit in with Mourinho. He tends to operate better when out wide than through the middle, and I'm also not sure if Mourinho would want to tolerate his inconsistencies and questionable decision-making.

Damn, just a summary of how bad Barcelona's signings have been lately. Not so long ago their "bad" signings ended up in top teams, now they go to teams such as Wolves, Zenit, Everton, etc

Didn't even know he had left Leicester!

In the post Fergie period, which seems to be everyone’s idea of when everything about our club stopped being perfect, I’d say the majority of players we have signed all had full pre-seasons with us. Which is as early as is relevant really. Off the top of my head I’d guess at between 60 and 70 %.
Yeah I checked that before when people were moaning in the last Mourinho summer or Ole's first and we get most of our signings done for preseason.

Would prefer a slightly better club next time around personally.
He just needs to play at a high level at a club where he's getting regular minutes tbh. Risking it at a club challenging for honours might impede his development.

Camavinga announced to Rennes that he did not want to extend. #Camavinga wants to go to PSG. The 2 clubs have already discussed together. Stade Rennais wants 100M €

He is a £100m player in the making for me.....but he isnt yet and with a year left on his contract that is a ludicrous fee. That is the kind of fee you would pay for Mbappe with a year left on his contract, it is like they are valuing him at £150-200m if it wasnt for the contract.

Personally find it hard to believe there is any truth at all in the fee mentioned, wouldnt surprise me for him to go there though
