Might sound like sacrilege to some but I think they'd genuinely be better off if he left and they could renew their squad.
Totally agree. He's not as good as he was in his 20s yet they keep bumping his wages. Makes no sense at all.

Why do people think a data scientist like Murtough is involved in the financial negotiations for players when we have financiers in Woodward and Judge.

Because he’s our director of football and deals with all of our transfer negotiations now…..y’know the man mentioned in this tweet that mentions about how fast our transfers are…..

Murtough - Transfer Negotiator
Judge - Negotiates Player Contracts
Woodward/Joel - oversees it all and deals with the money side of things, aka, signs off the deals.

But ultimately, Murtough is the one who should be getting the praise.

Some journos seem to rate him (Horncastle, Whitwell, J.Robson, etc.)

Oh I know, my man. He definitely has his own little posse/collection of supporters! I wasn’t trying to be arsey with you, so I hope it didn’t come across that way!

In that case, then Ajax should have nothing to worry about with the delays. However, I can understand why they'd be worried that United are hijacking the deal given how Sulemana's camp delayed the closing stages.

On a side note, Eckner isn't necessarily being fed particular bits of info. Based on his Tweets, he's most likely seeing the info as the rest of us and is putting 2 and 2 together. I'm basing this on his overall posting history and the fact that he doesn't tend to break through with his own info, even in any of the BBC articles.

Meeting between Juventus and Demiral's entourage. The Turk does not want to be considered a backup [option], he wants a central role in the project. The Bianconeri are willing to evaluate offers between 40-45 million [Euros].

Genoa are ahead, but the matter is not yet closed due to a possible buyback clause being pushed into the contract. Atalanta are also inquiring about Frabotta.

Another exciting and relatively inexpensive winger we're going to miss out on, after Raphinha?

Meh, he's nowhere near as consistent as Raphinha. He's exciting, sure, but his decision-making and inconsistent end product would get frustrating to watch at a bigger club.

Breaking News | From Jésus Gallego via Hora 25 Deportes

Real Madrid finds it IMPOSSIBLE to bring Kylian Mbappé [in] this summer.

Looking ahead to next season, they expect PSG to put on the table an economically unattainable [for Real Madrid] renewal offer.

Original source:

#Lazio: not only [working on] Hysaj. [They are also] pressing for Brandt, [who is] perfect for the wide positions. And for the midfield, they advance on [Toma] Basic, who will be leaving Bordeaux.

It's a short Tweet, but José Félix Díaz states that Real Madrid are not working on bringing Koundé in.

The state of Barca. :wenger:

How selfish is Messi, knowing that his so called beloved Club is in bad financial crisis, and yet he is making Barca go through such tough situation. At the end of the day its just money greed …

Can you imagine, the summer Ed leaves and United restructure their transfer committee, we go and sign Sancho and Varane, delicately swoop for a wonderkid bargain and still have time in the transfer window all before pre season even starts!

Sancho and Varane is probably 550-600k a week in wages. No way we are doing that without a few big name departures in my opinion.

It's ridiculous. Seriously tarnishing his image. How much money does he need?

I still think Barca should have called his bluff.
