If Trippier is too expensive let's give Dalot ago a backup, see how he goes.
Personally, I wouldn't mind that. If we want more attacking productivity from our right back, then Dalot can certainly offer that. The fact that he can also play on the left when required is a nice bonus. I realise that Trippier also offers both of those things, but if United want to prioritise other positions, then Dalot wouldn't be a bad backup option.

I really hoped Dalot would make it.. Wouldnt mind him getting a proper shot.

New 5+1 year contract as we speak .

Having seen him in the Copa America, he's mostly played as a left winger and looked okay though unspectacular. I'm not sure if he'll be much better as an attacking midfielder for us, either.

Some updates:

Easy, just add it if Sancho makes certain amount of assists clause or something like based on his performance. I mean if he hit lot of assists or his performance is very good, the additional money will be worthy. Looks like next week will be the day.

What number is he going to wear? Get rid of someone and give him 14 or 20?
I think Cavani will get the 9, Sancho will get the 7 and Martial will get sold because he won't want to sit on the bench.

The 14 and 20 are reserved for squad players who'll only get on the pitch if the big names underperform or get injured. Every top side needs players who are willing to sit on the bench even though they could be in the starting XI elsewhere. United are lucky to have a decent set of them.

Hakimi flat out rejected Chelsea and people think that they have a chance with Haaland.

Quotes from Mike Verweij (via Soccer News):
It’s a complicated story. Ajax are out with Nordsjaelland, but Manchester United seem to be too. That boy is in Amsterdam in the Jaz Hotel next to the ArenA, pending an agreement between Ajax and his agent about a personal contract. After that he can be examined (medical), but that exam from what I’ve heard was postponed to Saturday. That could be time wasting. I’m afraid that Ajax must fear a Richarlison.

It will probably be much more interesting for that agent to go to Manchester United with Sulemana. The commissions in England are even higher than at Ajax, but I don’t know whether that is also in the player’s interest.

All those terrible sources some Chelsea fans were posting to make it seem like it was a done dealio and they’re unbelievably efficient in the transfer market

Sancho gets 14, Lingard is sold. Then when Cavani leaves next summer he’ll move to 7.

Martial will get sold this summer or next and Haaland takes the 9.

Exactly. It was hilarious. Some were even posting terrible sources of Haaland to Chelsea

Also trying to convince everyone that Sancho would end up at Chelsea because he was a boyhood fan and best friendzies with the likes of Abraham and Hudson Odoi.
