Umtiti is an interesting player, could be fantastic at the right club but that knee is a worry.

I think Umtiti and Semedo are the types of players that someone like us or Spurs would take a gamble on. It hasn't worked out for us with Mina (He's alright but not great) but Digne on the other hand is our best player alongside Richarlison. Digne was only 18m too so it may be possible to get either of them for around 20m depending on negotiation.

Koeman could end up being a match made in heaven for obvious reasons but whoever it is will probably end up having to make some seriously tough decisions and realize they may not contend for much in the meantime. Who will even want that job right now I wonder.

I mean, he was pretty highly rated when we signed him, lauded as the new Pogba at one point. Just hasn't lived up to his hype.

De jong is the only player I would take from that Barca team. May be Ter stegen.

At least the club are eyeing short-term options in case Sancho doesn't seem to be attainable. The only problem is that Juve require some money and would want us to pay a decent amount despite his contract expiring at 2022.

Might not do them harm. Trying to build a team that accomodates Messi or Ronaldo in the modern game isn't straightforward. Griezmann and Coutinho are clearly lesser players still, but you dont need to be imaginative or selective with who you put around them. Anyone good will do, and both are pretty good players too.

I think there is a very strong possibility that we are going to get some transfer stories on both incomings and outgoings as that very often happens when we have had a bad result to deflect our attention away from it
