The 1st paragraph (only thing readable for free): With Hasan Salihamidzic as Bayern's director, the club have set up a shortlist for every position ("shadow teams" according to the article). One of those names:

I assume there's something else after the paywall (even if I don't expect it to be anything substantial), because it has been reported many times before, also by the same outlet, that Camavinga is high on Brazzo's list of potential targets (or, in the 'shadow team') so that's not newsworthy at all.

Edit: From googling I can deduce that the 'surprising' players that SportBild claims to be on the list in this item, are Stuttgart's left back Borna Sosa and Werder's defender Friedl (a former Bayern youth player).

That's right. Sosa and Friedl are two of them, and there are some more:

Jules Koundé has a 75 million Euro release clause, and Monchi has stated that they'll only sell him if that release clause is triggered.

Schalke want to keep Kolasinac beyond his loan spell.

Schalke director Jochen Schneider:
That is our absolute dream. He’s an incredibly good guy, lives for the club, pushes and pulls the cart. Sead embodies Schalke like no other. Of course, it is our wish to keep him until the end of his career and beyond.

Please don't chase the CB that isn't going to be sold all summer only to end up with no one when there are seemingly a lot of top options available this summer.

I don't think we're necessarily going hard into the paint for him. The United journalists haven't mentioned him when talking about potential centre backs that we're looking at. He's right there with Konaté as someone who we'd we looking at but not necessarily actively working on at this time.

That's about £60M, so sign him and get money plus Valverde from Real and that leaves us enough to go for a wide creative player.

Cavani is a no brainer given how he's played but extending Mata is brainless, we surely can't be expecting to get money for him.

For those who don't understand Italian, Raiola refused to make any comments when asked about Pogba.

This Tweet's unavailable. What was it referring to?

EDIT: Source

There really isn't much to it. It almost reads like a summary of the various rumours that have recently popped up. The fact that there's no mention of Milenkovic is a good indicator of this not really adding anything insightful.

United's medical staff can make the call on his injury issues. But I doubt United would find a better CB in the market who is dominant both on the ground and in the air against the aerial ball.
I'm with you. As hyped up as Upamecano is, I find Konaté to be the better defender out of the two. Were it not for his injuries, he'd probably be even more hyped up.

:O So it's physically possible for him to keep his mouth shut. Long may that continue.

I really don’t understand the Lukaku to city rumors. He’s the farthest thing from a Pep Guardiola player, let alone at the center forward position and even Solskjær who leans more to the pragmatic than ideologue side of the scale shunted him out the minute he got the job to bank on an inconsistent Martial as his lone center forward.

Konaté injuries are a major concern, as a talent I'm very keen, but we don't need another sick note. It's a tricky one.

Yeah the club would definitely want to see evidence from his medical reports that this isn't likely to be a recurring problem

Too late for that shit now. Raiola's disruptions have gone too far.
Yes. What if Pogba has come to the same conclusion? Maybe he has less interest in disrupting and more interest in the team he is a part of? There is this little thing called hope which keeps on breaking me.

The clubs medical department will make the call and the medical reports will be available. If we do decide to sign him then rest assured the club will have done their due dilligence.

Much as I am a big fan of Ramos he should only be considered as an bonus CB signing along with one of our top targets which looks to be either Varane, Kounde or Konate

Koundé may be in the shortlist, but I wouldn't consider him one of our main targets. Same with Varane. Konaté and Milenkovic, on the other hand, might be our main targets, as well as Badiashile.

Mental gymnastics - he's not put a leash on him all this time.

Feel like Badiashile and Milenkovic fall into the rotation CB category whereas the others are starter options

I Completely agree with this.

Those two have stronger links to us, interestingly, despite appearing more as depth options. Having said that, we do lack depth, so they might be useful options given that they aren't necessarily expensive (Badiashile more so, but let's see).

He would start for me too but just feel like Ole might not see him as a big upgrade to Lindelof
He's a different option to Lindelöf. He doesn't have his defensive awareness and reading of the game, but he's taller, quicker, and a more aggressive 1-on-1 defender. He'd be Bailly's backup, basically. Ideally, Lindelöf and Maguire would compete for one of the defensive spots against each other, but at this time, given our lack of depth, Maguire has to always start, and Lindelöf competes with Bailly.

If we get replace Smalling, Jones, and Rojo appropriately, these would be our CB options (in no order):
  • Stopper
    • Bailly
    • new CB
    • Tuanzebe/Mengi (or both)
  • Sweeper
    • Maguire
    • Lindelöf
  • New all-rounded CB? (Konaté makes sense here)
