Why the feck are Everton going to finish above us? We've strengthened in 2 key positions. What have they done? Signed Kean? Why are Juve so keen to let a teenager go? Because he's overrated.

Have some faith in the team.... McTom, Greenwood, Rashford, Martial, Pogba, Maguire, AWB, De Gea, Axel, Lindelof, Dan James, Dalot.. it's a fantastic set of young players.

So many of you are fecking miserable.

Did you watch us towards the end of last season? We were closer to teams like Everton quality wise than the teams above us, and although we have strengthened in defence, we are weaker in midfield and attack (unless the youngsters can make an instant impact).

We have every right to be upset with the transfer window.

Take it, snap there hand off, almost getting our money back. Dont like the way a few Italian clubs are low balling so much the last few seasons either....but no point cutting your nose etc.

I am probably about 30% confident of us making another signing before the window shuts, but £70m Dacoure, Ascacibar, Fernandes, Bentancur, Longstaff etc etc etc, its enough of a fee to sign most if not all of them individually. Either way I want Lukaku gone regardless, never has and never will be a striker worth of our shirt.

Lukaku at Inter is now a matter of hours, the player will arrive in Italy already in the evening. Manchester United now runs against time looking for two strikers. The released Fernando Llorente remains a concrete goal but the thrust of the last hours could also be done for the Spanish striker Inaki Williams of Athletic Bilbao. Next 24 decisive hours, looking for a double hit all in Spanish sauce for the Red Devils.

See, even if the news I brought you doesn't turn out to be true, I've softened the blow with a cracking pair of norks.

Hhmm Spanish sauce

Sources very close to Paulo Dybala assure me that they are negotiating with Manchester United, and not with Spurs. They tell me that they haven't spoken to Spurs, and they are waiting to see how the negotiations evolve with United.

She's a journalist for COPE.

This is more likely than negotiating with Spurs

Why are Arsenal considered to have a better window than us?

They signed Pepe who still has question marks about him, for £70 Million. Ceballos on loan, who when we were linked everyone called him average and also a young CB prospect who joins next year.

If they get Luiz their defence will be just as comical. Tierney will either be a good player or average if they get him too.
They have also lost Ramsey.. and their captain (who didnt play that much)
They are a little better than they were in attack..

Cancelo to Man City confirmed on City official twitter account

I can't post as don't have right privileges yet

That's a much better offer, I'd like to know what the bonuses are though.

£10m bonus payment if he manages to cushion the ball with his instep from the air and have it under instant control in any game during the season

Logging off with 880 pages, hope when I return in a couple of hours it's up to 940-ish with Bruno and Paulo confirmed.

Pretty sure i read before that United are surprised that they've been linked to Llorente, which tells me that it's utter BS. Perhaps Llorente has tried to get some fake stories out there to get some interest drummed up in him? Hey, if United are interested, maybe others should take a pop... he's free after all? Thats what i think anyway.

What about that almost done deal for Fernandes? That’s right, you don’t have a clue.

Yeah I don't consider them to have had a better window. United haven't made great strides, but I fully expect both Maguire and AWB to be big upgrades for them, both solidifying the defence and adding additional dimensions to the way they attack. James is a bit of a gamble and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't pay off, but his pace, versatility and work rate could again add a different threat and win him some fans, and he wasn't a huge amount of money.

Pepe is a massive gamble. Looks great in Ligue 1, but I'm not sure how he will translate to the PL at all. Ceballos is a fine player, but they've paid £12m to essentially help develop Real's player for them and then send him straight back. Tierney is another one who I'm not sure will make great strides at Arsenal either. Luiz would be wasted money IMO.

Rather not sign another striker, than Llorente.

We should reject that deal immediately as there's more chance of being struck by lightning.

You've every right to be upset but what's the fecking point? Lukaku never fecking played so we are not weaker there and Ander checked out months ago. McTom is still improving as is Mason; I want to see them as part of United's future.

Was heavily linked to City before the window even opened but they finally got it over the line.

City's squad depth is ridiculous. Can't look past them again this year, their 2nd XI could probably challenge for the top 4.

He's rubbish tbh. Will be an understudy to Walker. Very good going forward, but defensively he's horrible.
With the way they play, he would be an excellent player in final 3rd.

Think Walker will drop into a 3 man defence as needed.

Terrible business from Juve.

Brilliant from City how they have already secured replacement for Walker after buying him just 2 years ago.

So City, who in the last two seasons have picked up 198 points, went out and signed two players.

Meanwhile our new signing is a fully fit Adam Lallana.

I don't think we'll get close to them this season.

I doubt we'll have even confirmed the sale of Lukaku before our deadline tomorrow let alone sign anyone.
