I think he wants to tell everyone that we've bid for Koulibaly - but doesn't want to properly tweet about it until it's confirmed.
I took it more that he’s having a dig at the crap journos who always say we’ve “made a bid” or “preparing to bid” for player X or Y etc whereas he only likes to tweet when he’s got real news.

Can see where you are coming from but tbf there is only so much scouting team can do. They can't force recruitment team to sign players. They will prepare reports and chief scout/recruitment team analyze them. At Manutd we just go by manager wishes which should be changed for better.

I hope so as this is clearly where we are falling behind dramatically. The decisions made over the past 6 years is why we find ourselves in this mess currently and we really need to start climbing out of this mess.
Still nothing from the club regarding a 'transfer guru', so my only hope now is Ole if sticking to the same formula actually chooses players to address the obvious problems we have. He surely cannot be a fan of Jones, Young, Smalling, Lingard, Mata etc otherwise I fear for his time here.

I agree. I always look forward to these "unknown gems" or low profile player. Shame we stopped signing them.

:lol: Well done United. 300k for Ander, have PSG lost their mind.

Not worth half of that.

The club did the right thing not bowing to that.

I agree, but they should have started negotiations before PSG had the chance to get involved. I'm sure if we offered around 150k a week with 2 years left on his contract, he would have signed.

If we had capable people in our club we would get things done quickly. Our transfers drag on for so long. It’s going to be a long summer.

Wait.. we are believing Mirror now? Or do we just believe what we want to believe?

We just believe what we want to. Ander is a mercenary and whatever comes from Mirror is a gospel. Let the Ander bashing commence.

Can’t blame him for leaving. That’s probably almost double of what we offered him and he wasn’t even a starter for us.

Bleeds for the club does Herrera

That has always been the case in this thread. A couple of weeks ago, some accounts ran a story about City getting Fernandes and quite a few people were moaning about how them and other clubs have struck early in the market while we're dilly-dallying around. Two weeks later, no deals have been done, the Fernandes thing was nonsense and our transfer window doesn't even open until tomorrow.

Someone is going to get an absolute bargain with Brandt.

He will be on good money, but the amount they are quoting seems excessive. What sort of money are the likes of Mbappe on? Don't believe they would be paying him that much as a weekly wage unless it is including a signing on fee paid weekly and before tax.

Well people have already fallen for it

Havertz certainly needs to be able to drop into midfield otherwise like Isco, James Rodriguez etc they will struggle to find top teams who uses an advanced midfielder behind the striker with a defensive double pivot midfield. Leverkusen use an outdated system.
