We never had more then some interest in him. We are going for Paolo Dybala.

In my opinion, that's a tad bit expensive. But Bayern have got a phenomenal player for the next decade. He would have been first choice for me for the RW at United. He would have fit like a glove.

If they think just sorting the defence will turn us into some amazing attacking force it seems a bit odd. The defence did need strengthening but that right wing also needed something doing with it.
Ed does not compile the list of transfer targets but he approves the list that we are targeting and negotiates the deals for us. As you can tell, how apt he is at getting the deals done.

Yes, its going to be very similar to Liverpools team of two years ago with the elite front three and slightly underwhelming midfield. There's also a highly talented defender - Saliba - VVD. A youth product CB - Holding/Gomez, a scottish LB - Tierney/Robertson, a youth product RB - Bellerin/TAA.
Sporting may have been using us to try and sell an asset that they no longer want. This was @Judas theory and I'm starting to believe it too unfortunately.

United are just not clear enough. If Stone had said properly that Bruno is not happening according to what hes heard instead of retweeting Luckhurst saying he doubted it would happen, people would move on.
