Feck, that's going to be a very good signing for Arsenal imo.

It's fine, I never wanted a right winger anyway.

Doesn't solve any of their problems really though. Ramsey gone and not replaced along with the koscielny scenario leaves them in a worse state so far.

Still they at least sign someone they need (even if it’s not their only need, it’s still an upgrade).

Adding another creative goal scorer to your squad is never a bad thing. They can probably switch to a forward 3 of Auba, Lacazetter and Pepe which on paper should be pretty damn strong imo.

Ceballos in behind spraying the ball about with Guendouzi providing the energy and Xhaka the bully. It's pretty good imo.

Doesn't that negate Auba or Lacazette though? You either have to drop Lacazette deeper or you have to push Auba out wide. To me they're both goal scorers who should be playing through the middle.

They could rotate a bit, it'd be pretty similar to your formation imo with your front 3.

Yes, been trying to sell, which is why nothing ever materialized on our end, we can't possibly have been interested.

Still think Ed is missing a trick not monetizing official interest in a player.

I refuse to believe that if Dybala falls through our attacking additions will amount to Daniel James

Will City try to sign Sancho (and loan him back to Dortmund for the next season if that's the condition)?

They signed Ceballos.

Completely different player to Ramsey who added goals from midfield.
@RedSky it's a bit square pegs in round holes if they go 433.

There biggest strength last season was the link between Lacazette and Aubameyang, to split them wide and ask one to play somewhere they've both said they don't want to isn't ideal.

If they had gone for Fernandes they could have played a pretty strong diamond with plenty of goals.

Sancho doesn't seem keen on going back there

Man Utd now have to haggle over a few mil here and there.

Fernandes and Maguire should have been no feckin brainers. Why hang around?

And we're only in fot dybala by chance. So if we weren't in for fernandes it would have only been james. Bizarre if true.

You don't have to replace like for like if they're going to switch formation. Ramsey didn't offer many goals last season either.

I can totally see Ceballos feeding the front three who would provide the goals. Liverpool as an example the front 3 scored 56 goals. Personally I think he's exactly what Arsenal are missing, another player who can get into double digits.

True we should operate like “insert club” instead. Like who except for Madrid has moved quick over a big money transfer?

Another deal which has seemingly dragged on all summer. Woody and Levy are two of the slowest guys ever.

That's the second CM they will sign this summer and we've lost Herrera and Fellaini and United are yet to sign even one.... How the hell does Ed even have a job? For a club of United's stature, he's absolutely pathetic. 60m for Ndombele and 55m for Lo Celso are very good deals.

I think they'd have to add 2 wingers to switch formation and drop one of Lacazette or Aubameyang is my point.

You do realise it is not Ed’s job to compile our list of transfer targets?

So infuriating, if the links are to be believed in the first place.

You'd think there was value in getting these deals done early so they can train with the first team in preparation for the new season.

If Spurs get Bruno and United come out with a statement saying that they were never interested, we are truly doomed because it will just mean that we are atleast 5 years from actually posing any PL challenge since we don't have clear priorities. For those saying that Bruno will come in only if Pogba leaves needs to understand that Bruno should be a replacement for Herrera and not Pogba.

We've came out with a statement that we were never interested about a week ago. We just genuinely might not be interested. I think he might he useful and likely a better fit than Dybala but it is what it is.
