How are all these foreign journalists getting these scoops while the British journalists are silent on this one?

Since Pogba would (likely) have no bearing on a potential Dybala transfer, why not include Dybala in both options?

I could be wrong but I think both Lukaku and Pogba would need to be offloaded to get the above trio. Maybe I don’t follow Serie A enough but could Juve really see Lukaku as a bargaining chip to significantly lower Dybala’s price? I think Lukaku is going to Inter but again it’s all speculation.

Pedulla's really unreliable, isn't he?

EDIT: according to the folks on Reddit he's reliable for Italian clubs, we're not Italian so ...

He's pretty knowledgeable. Close to Sarri's people and got a lot of stories about Chelsea right last year when they had Sarri.

The club will be going straight to the press once any agreements are reached. Youll get about 10 journalists comfirming it at once.

I think he's being used by people at Lazio, who are desperate to start an auction for SMS and are using imaginary interest from United to do it.

Can see the English journos confirming it via Twitter between 5 and 5:30.

He does seem to be very reliable when it comes to clubs Sarri is at. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we land Dybala.

"However, Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports News said: "As far as we are concerned, I have faith in the source from our story and what we are being told.

"We know that Everton are trying to sign him, we know they made a £55m bid for him, and we know that in discussions the names of Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy have been brought up - players that Crystal Palace are interested in.

"Everton say they have not made a second bid but my information is that they have."

Oh feck off Sky Sports with your bullshit 'sources'.

Please stop getting your hopes up. We aren’t going to spend £250m in a week.

I'd wank my self silly if we got Dybala, primarily because he's so handsome.

I think that's more like what Ole wants to play.

I think we are not going to get any one.

Week and a half left of the transfer window, it’s still entirely possible that we’ll spend that much in a week or so, there’s no reason why we can’t

I love this board.

Everytime something pessimistic about our club gets reported it’s always seen by the majority here that it’s gospel.

The second something seemingly positive comes out it’s immediately disregarded as BS

I hope we get one signing but to expect Maguire, Fernandes and Dybala to all come in before the window closes is beyond laughable.

People have moaned for years that we overpay and undersell, the club literally cannot win. I am much happier seeing us drive a hard bargain like everyone has done to us for years.

I think balance is what's needed here. Sure we should drive a hard bargain when necessary, Pogba being the perfect example.

Lukaku on the other hand is surplus to requirements, on reasonably high wages & doesn't seem to have many teams after him. We should get what we can for him this year (so long as its not a derisory offer of course) and move on. ~ €75m sounds fair to me.

If we overpay massively once, every club will want us to overpay using that one transfer as a precedent. We already suffer from it and continuing overpaying will lead to disaster, even for a club of Utd's size.

Similarly, selling a valuable asset on the cheap, especially a CF who is in his prime and scores a decent amount of goals, plus someone another club so massively covets, would be foolishness of the extreme. Lukaku is just 26, even if we don't sell him this year, he'll still be a 27 year old internationally proven CF with 2 years of his contract left. He'll still fetch a decent prize next summer. We hold all the cards in this situation, why give up that advantage? It's not merely about 5-10 million, it's about the message you send to the other clubs too.

I'd disagree with that personally. His value is very likely to be lower next year, having (presumably) not been a key member of our team all season. He's already made it clear he wants to go and hasn't played a single minute of pre-season.

Why pay his wages this year on top of taking a lower price next, in order to send a message? I don't think that message will change anything really.

IMO, the way to start achieving better prices is to improve (or maybe just utilise?) our scouting network, pick up on players before they're known to every tom dick and Harry & make this a more attractive place to be, incentivising the players to push harder for the move.

I mean at the end of the day none of us really know huh, but for me I'd be disappointed to see Lukaku in the squad next year. I think it's time to move on.

Why? Maguire and Bruno purchased, Dybala swapped with Lukaku - why is it beyond laughable? Perhaps Rojo and Darmian to be sold, too

This Dybala lark is giving me flashbacks to the crushing disappointments that were Di Maria/Falcao/Schweinsteiger/Sanchez to be honest.

Why? Reports are that we've been after Maguire and Fernandes since the start of the window so not unlikely that we'll sign them both. And if we suddenly sell Pogba for 140m and Lukaku for 70m then it wouldn't be strange to sign Dybala.

The original post included Pogba in his starting 11. Plus Real Madrid have spent over £300m and can’t get rid of Bale. There is no chance he is leaving this summer.
