No.

I'd be happy with that.

Leaving the wealth of options and quality in midfield that is Matic, McT, Perreira, Fred and Longstaff?

It would be suicide. Even if you keep Pogba and bring in Longstaff I still think we are short a proven midfielder given number of games next season and managers preference for high intensity pressing.

I am starting to wonder if Dybala links picking up is the reason for briefing about Bruno not being a priority.

Would love to think you could fit both in the same team but our board wouldn't sanction that kind of move in a million years.

So 2+2 = 4

Juve don't want Lukaku, they want Icardi and for as little as possible. Conte has demanded Lukaku in and has "bomb squaded" Icardi a la Diego Costa. Juve feign interest in Lukaku to force Inter to get on with it and thus weakening their own position with Icardi even further, Juve swoop in and get him for a song.

This is a football version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream but a nightmare instead.

Dybala, Maguire, Bruno... have the muppet gods finally answered caf's prayers? Should we be ready to pull down our pants?
probably not

Well, we can't all be football experts of your high standard. I'm not the first person to notice the similarities, by the way, but we all must be stupid, so what does it matter?

I just think it's a bit disingenuous to suggest he's like Fellaini just because he can control a high ball. He has got far more to his game on the ball than Fellaini. His passing game is better, he has a better shot, dribbles better.

Because replacing our only world class player with few good ones does not improve us. We need to keep the world class player and buy good ones to improve us. If the purse strings are tightened because the Glazers want more money for themselves then there should be riots until the Glazers are forced to leave. United make enough money, our transfers shouldn't be tied to sales.

He is our most talented player and has bags of ability but for me at least he has never been world class, consitency of performance alone is nowehere near good enough to be considered world class

Most fans were happy to get rid of Fellaini, but now they want another version of him in Milinkovic-Savic? Makes no sense.
Exactly. I dont understand the love for SMS. He's a big lump that you need to use as a Fellaini.

I'll never understand the way some United fans talk about Pogba. A generational talent, right under our noses, just a season off winning the World Cup and posting the best numbers in the history of Manchester United's midfield, while being villanised and surrounded by mediocre players like Lukaku and Mata and Lingard.

And people think they'd rather have two unknown players in his place who haven't won jackshit between themselves or ever played at the highest level of football.

Because what he has done for France is completely irrelevant to club football, he is a club record fee and a very talented player........and bar two months, has been at worst awful and at best good in 70% of the games he has played for us.

I hate the fact we spent so much on Lukaku who was never going to be a great striker for us in my mind when we signed him, Pogba could have been a great player for us, but regardless of those around him he has been nowhere near bar the odd false dawn.

You say a once in a generation talent yet look at our best cm Keane, Robson, Scholes, he doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as any of them, not even Ince. All fantastic players FOR US and remember Robson was surrounded by mediocre players most of his career too.

So I am more surprised people talk positively about Pogba when he is a record fee and a hugely talented player.....that has been generally pretty damn average for us for the vast majority of his time here

You were asking ‘so much’ for Perisic so feck yourself and stop talking to the media.

Although I completely agree with you.....I would far rather we took £55, or whatever they are offering and reinvested than still have Lukaku here. I hope Juventus are serious about signing him as Inter just dont seem like they will give us what we want

You see a ridiculous player, I see a player that's more impressive physically than he is technically. He also seems to think he's more skillful than he actually is too. Not sure I'd be so confident of him getting that many goals at this stage of his career.

Is very much a rough diamond but I think he has great potential even though I get what you are saying. In todays market £36m does seem a steal to me though

This was my original point re: Moise Kean. He's scored quite a few already and will now be the focal point in an Everton team with Ricarlison and other skilled players around him. I think he'll score quite a few in the PL. 20+ might be pushing it for this season. But with the right service (Zaha?) Who knows? Everton will be much stronger this year.

No one tell Juve Ronaldo does well with a 'pivot' who can control the football.

We'll never agree on this because you don't take context into account. You want Pogba to have the same performances as those except that he's on a worse team, with bigger expectations, etc... It just never made sense to me. If you have an average performance, you can get picked up by your teammates and get the results/trophies. Fans won't view that performance as negative. What matters to me is his performance relative to his teammates and in this case Pogba is without a doubt been a top 3 player for us in his 3 seasons here. If he was not, I and many others would be in agreement with you.

I just don't think it makes sense to isolate the player and feel that the player must always have a constant performance regardless of his surroundings. Drop Pogba in to 2007/08, now he's surrounded by Tevez, Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes, Rio, Vidic, Evra, etc... I would expect his performances to rise and even if he doesn't do well, there are so many match winners that we as fans would easily forget or not view them in as bad of a light as you would now.

I just highly doubt Dybala would want to come to United. Pressuring a player to move rarely ends well and the last thing we need is another Di Maria.

meh, its not like Di Maria is the only player that has ever been talked into a transfer

He may be (or already have been) told that he is not in his manager's plans. It's not good at all for a player of his calibre and in his age to sit in reserves - and if so, the question is where to go?

PSG don't need, Barca either, Madrid even less so. City are well staffed in attack, Liverpool may be short on funds, Chelsea have a transfer ban, and Bayern don't need either. Juve also won't sell to Italian rivals. So what does he have left? Man Utd, Spurs and that's more or less it.

To choose United over Spurs is not something that would be unheard of.

I don't understand why this doesn't concern anyone. Like lemmings just walking into another potential disaster, zero shits given about potential tactical headaches either.
I agree. I'd rather Bruno than Dybala. Not sure we need him, especially if he's reticent to come.

I'd wank my self silly if we got Dybala, primarily because he's so handsome.
Well, our Argentine track record would be on the rise, If i'm not mistaken our last was Tevez, who made an incrediblly ugly strike duo with Rooney. Thank God for Ronaldo and Berbalove.
