According to both Corriere dello Sport and Il Tempo on Tuesday, no offer has been made just yet, while Gazzetta dello Sport believe €75m has been offered by the Premier League side for the 24-year-old (they say Claudio Lotito wants €120m).

As things stand, we’d be far more inclined to side with the first two, especially since Mateja Kezman has yet to return to Rome, where he is awaited by Lazio to discuss his client’s future.

#Lazio direct line to the @ManUtd for #MilinkovicSavic . Not yet an official proposal but Manchester has made itself available to shell out 80 million. Lotito asks for at least 100

Lotito wanted 120m yesterday..
Hold out for a week and we'll have him for nothing.

He WAS, until he discovered that he could arse around on drink and drugs (allegedly) and still get paid. Now they can’t even give him away
Thanks for letting me know as I didn't know that. Knew he liked a few cigarettes. Silly to do these things as he was such a talented player. Wondered why they were supposedly trying to get rid of him.

Why would any club with serious ambitions want to sign Matic? That offer (nevermind the idea of United rejecting it) smells of BS

He would be fairly decent in Italy as he'd have much more time on the ball.

Losing Fred would mean absolutely nothing to the club, I forgot he even existed.

Seriously? Granted he didn't have the type of season we'd have liked, he had some decent games for us, especially nearing the end of the season. I expect (hope) him to really push on next season and stamp down a position in the team, sort of what Lindelof did in his second season.

Serious question. What has happened with Savic? I thought most on here wanted him badly last year? Can that much change in 1 year?

Thanks

He still won Serie A midfielder of the year as well so I am curious as well why he is so dismissed this year.

Why aren't United going for him? Makes sense for a couple of seasons at that price.
Seems like we've only got real interest in Maguire now and if that fails then we'll probably roll with our current centre backs plus Axel next season. :nervous:

Bitch about lack of value in the market and then watch quality players like Toby and Tielemens get nabbed for peanuts.

No wonder why Pogba wants to get away from this joke of a club under the glazers, Real wont even settle for the likes of Isco and James being good enough for the club and yet United are after a Southampton reject.
Dude, we are not Real Madrid, nor are we Barcelona, talk about entitlement and being out of touch with reality. We are a second tier power-club, which leaves us with money to pay for world class players, but without the on-field success to persuade these players to come here, so we are stuck with either over-paying for second tier talent (i.e. McGuire who I think would be a good buy) or investing in prospects...either move is not idea, carries more risk and causes an uproar with the fans, but its where we are at the moment. Transfer season is easy as hell for clubs like Madrid, just pick guaranteed stars and pay them a ton of money and they will come...if we could persuade said stars to come here, we would do the same thing.

Who would have thought that no one would want Bale a few seasons back? Injuries have killed him.

If you look at his appearance record, he has still put in a pretty substantial amount of games each year, 42 and 39 appearances in last 2 years with 14 and 21 goals respectively and 6 assists and 7 assists respectively, working backwards in seasons. Not too shabby, albeit would expect a lot more for £600k! But rebasing his level he is still a top player.

Forget real Madrid and barcelona we not Liverpool or man city either, we are showing about as much ambition as a mid-table side and it's no wonder why players like pogba and de gea cant wait to move on to an ambitious club.
