The last time we had no midfield we won the league so this seems like a solid plan.

It's also likely bullshit.

Okay. We need to start moving here. This is exactly the type of signing United need to be making. Even on loan, this guy would be brilliant.
I rate him, but what's the point when we have Rashford and Greenwood as strikers if we lose Lukaku? We need someone more experienced.

We need goals. Experience is all well and good, but we have that throughout the team. Kean would get 20 goals in the right PL team. And Kean and Ricarlison would make Everton a top 4 team.

The Catalan side had looked to negotiate with Atletico Madrid in order to try and pay the sum in instalments, but Los Rojiblancos were unwilling to allow Barcelona to do this.
One thing that could have made a deal possible is Nelson Semedo making the move to the Spanish capital, a player Diego Simeone wanted, but Ernesto Valverde and the Barcelona board did not want to part ways with the Portuguese right-back

80 million for Pogba, who still has 3 years of contract remaining while Hazard went for 130 when he had just a year left. Where's that fax machine again?

Real Madrid can seriously feck off. I wouldn't sell them a pack of crisps with the way they have been treating us in the last 10 years. Same goes for Barcelona. We should stand our fecking ground and I'm proud of Ole for saying that Manchester United don't have to sell any player if we don't want to!

I have to say I highly doubt that. He’s not even played a full season yet. Ben yedder or Haller would be a better option for us in that regard.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but say if Real Madrid do manage to pull this off, won’t their squad massively lack depth then?
Not really. They haven't sold anyone from their first team squad yet... Hernandez and Lorente were bit part players.. A couple were out on loan.

They have brought in Hazard, Jovic, Militao, Mendy, Rodrygo (first team squad ready?).
They have the numbers

Out of the players listed in the tweet.. James was out on loan too.. Bale, Isco, Vazquez and Mariano .. Replacing them with a couple of big signings will help them.. They should be fine with the squad depth too.

Not sure people are lining up for pay them big money for most of those listed though..

Scored 6 goals in 9 starts (13 appearances overall) last season for Juve. Might not score 20 for Everton considering he'd get fewer chances, but it's potentially possible. At United he'd almost certainly score 20 or more.

Yeah, my point is it’s a rather big gamble. Like you mention, it could be a master stroke and payoff, equally we could be left as frustrated as last season, relying on another 20 year old to get us our goals.
