He looked far too raw in the Nations League games. Just a big physical brute.

I sincerely hope we have been working on other deals because we should be replacing Herrera Pogba and Lukaku on top of everything else we have to do.

We will probably ask Paul to stay another season with the promise to sell him next summer - which isn't ideal.

And I forgot DDG.

Yikes.

You think we are going to finish outside top 10? Like 12th or 13th? Would take some effort if you ask me

Without Pogba (assuming we don't sign 2 or 3 very good midfielders) it's not that unlikely. We'd finish below Wolves, Leicester for starters.

I think we'll sell but it will be at the right price. Juventus and Madrid will try to mug us off but the club needs to stand their ground and get the best deal as possible. We can't afford to get bent over.

Take Pogba out of that team last year and we finish lower than 6th 100%. This club needs to pull its finger out soon regardless of him staying or not.

Unless our valuation is met he can dream of a 'new challenge' as much as he likes.

Why are people saying it’s ok to sell Pogba? Even if we get £150m for him, that will be gone on Maguire and Wan Bissaka. Gone are the days where £150m could get you 3/4 good players.

We would be losing out best player in the process, our most marketable player, and it would send out a sign that we can’t keep our top players. Why would other top players want to join when they see Pogba, De Gea and Lukaku leaving?

If we're going to sell Pogba we might as well have kept Mourinho. Let's face it, with Ole and Woodward in charge, losing Pogba, Herrera, Lukaku and De Gea, we're looking at a mid-table finish at very best.

The only upside I can see is it might convince the Glazers to feck off.

Just compare the outrage when two inconsistent players in Martial and Rashford are linked with moves away to our best player.

Paul Pogba is one reason why our midfield dosn´t work well as he is inept at tracking runners + slow to react + need time on the ball to pick a pass ( most of the time ) and easy to steal the ball from when put under pressure. He brings individual flashy quality ( too rare to build the team around ) but weakens the team overall quality in a league such as the PL. He is also prone to sulking and giving up when it gets tough on the pitch.

Selling him to help rebuild our midfield entirely from scratch would be the wise decision going forward. We need a strong midfield that is without major weaknesses if we are going to be succesful as the midfield is the heart of the team in both defensive and offensive parts of the game.

Main reason haha.
Look if he wants to go sell him and get more than 150m.
However main reason our midfield doesn't work? Come on

You might want to reread my post as i say one reason and not the main reason as he isn´t the only reason why our midfield is in a dire shape.

True, our midfield before Pogba never had any issues.

We wouldn't. We'll outspend them and finish higher - unless Ole is incompetent.

Fecking depressing this.
Pogba, Lukaku and DDG potentially leaving the club. Fellani and Herrera have already left. We have signed 1 squad player till now and its 16th June. Feck me what a horrid time to be a Utd fan. These 2-3 years are going to be shite.

Even without Pogba, you're still having to work a little harder due to Matic. And Pogba takes away a lot of the creative burden away from our other midfielders. It's not like Pogba is just a liability and that's the end of the story. It goes both ways. Take Pogba away and now our team maybe more defensively solid, but it lost a lot of it's creative ability.

People forget how frustrated we all were with our midfield not taking any risks and always choosing the safe option. That was one of Cleverley's main criticisms for example.
