I think it's important to spend all our money before selling. Imagine if we sold Lukaku for 80, Pogba for 150 and De Gea for 70. How much do you think CP would want for WB knowing we have £300M in the bank from player sales?

Get the targets in ASAP then spend the rest of the window selling players who want to leave or we no longer need.
No way are we selling Pogba. At this moment in time United are at its lowest point. We are not going to selling our only world class outfield superstar due to the message it sends (abandon the sinking ship). We have already lost out on our number 1 target Sancho due to the way we ended the season. Selling Pogba would mean only championship/PL or scraps left in the market would join us. Pogba is worth more to us unhappy at the club than the £150 million we will get for him. Only if he publicly says I want to leave united and will go on strike to ensure it, would we sell him.

Good translation. Thanks.
So Lukaku's made it worse by opening his mouth:D
Yes. He made it worse, united never hold players if they want to leave, but we dont like these silly games to force the club and to lower the price that the Italian and spanish clubs use.

Icardi will be a free agent soon. Anyone in their right mind would rather wait than to swap him with Lukaku.

Fully agree with our stand. Lukaku isn't as smart as he makes out. Imagine Inter don't pay up? How is going to face Ole after those remarks?

The deal got complicated. United rejected direct swap with Icardi and want not a euro less than 80m euros and the last meeting did not go well. It's very difficult, but Inter is still working on it. Conte made it clear to the board that Lukaku his number one on the list. United seemed more sharp and and very tough in the negotiations because of Lukaku's comments to the media "to force the club to sell him".

sorry for the rough translation :D

Good after their fecking about with overpricing Perisic last year it will be a good lesson for Inter that being awkward cnuts in negotiations for players can work both ways.

Hope we hold them to 80m and if they don't cough it up then sell him to someone else in Italy for slightly less.

Or maybe we deal with them amicably.

1) We get Lukaku off the team
2) Build a healthy relationship between the clubs that paves the way for future deals.

I sincerely hope not, but I did say "imagine".

Still stands that we should be getting all our top targets in first.

Yet we were quoted ridiculous fees for both Perisic and Skinrar, being civil works both ways, and if one club acts like an ass on two occasions then you cant expect the other to be naive and bend over backwards, they would get taken for a mug more often than not.

Healthy relation goes both ways. Not when Inter want it. We should stand firm in dealings with the beggar clubs like Inter Milan.

Why in the feck would we do that. They've been nothing but non-cooperative and demanded silly prices anytime we wanted one of their players. Which is fine and understandable, but I'm not sure why would we be any different when they come calling for one of ours.

I'd take Icardi + 40/45 Mil.

The better player and he would be worth the punt at that price (30/35 mil).

Yeah that’d be a real sickener for us, keeping our player of the year
Crystal Palace will sell, sooner or later, AWB is bigger than the club at the moment, United can buy the whole club for 200m and take AWB and Zaha and give the rest of the players to other teams :D.

"The Argentine forward could look to get his contract terminated two years ahead of schedule having been told that he is no longer deemed part of Inter’s plans and not wanted at pre-season training following all of the controversy in this past season".

I think his situation with Inter is a big one and causes so much trouble for Inter. Maybe it won't be 2021.
Yeah that's just posturing. Little chance he'd actually go through with it and zero chance of winning. Him and his wife are just really dumb and petty and immature so instead of looking for a good solution they're out there trying to force an ugly confrontation because they feel slighted

More reason not to swap players with Inter then, if Icardi is involved.

Nah i prefer my idea.

I don't mind if Lukaku stays if we don't get the right price for him.

AWB and Maguire and i think we should be done. Bruno and Tielemans are just white noise, unless Pogba leaves. Not sure who we will buy/replace if Lukaku leaves

We would be insane not to bring in a midfielder regardless of outgoings.

I hope not if thats the case we're in trouble, the attack needs improving as much as the defence. Theres a right winger shaped hole in the team thats been there for the best part of 6 years now that needs filling.

If that's the case then we should be done with expecting anything more than 6th.

Nah, Inter can feck off. Either they pay up or move the feck on.

Eee.. We are going to sign a CB, RB, CM and Versatile forward this window for sure, doesn't matter who we sell.

We absolutely need one midfielder as well at bare minimum. Pogba is our only midfielder with any creativity or even the ability to pass forwards consistently and it holds us back badly.

That would be a steal for £35m

Ajax declined 43M this winter. And that was when he wasn't that well known. After that he had some great games in the CL run and became an international for Brasil. So i don't think they will let him go for 35.

Er no actually they can’t, there are rules around that unfortunately. Although if you believe The Sun this morning a wealthy Chinese guy is making an offer to buy us. Maybe we’ll be knocking on your door for Pogba next year :D

We have a great opportunity to get a limited player like Lukaku off our hands for a good price. No other club is stupid enough to be desperate for him.

Yes Inter were dicks when we approached them for Perisic but he was an important player for them and they were not desperate to get rid of him. Ole has a hard on for Rashy and Lukaku aint an important part of his plans neither he is good enough.

All those who say they don't have problems with Lukaku staying will smash the Lukaku thread to smithereens with their 'first touch', 'limited player', 'never a utd forward' bs.
