Longstaff has shown this season to be extremely good in in all these areas. Ole has also prioritised fitness and work ethic in his model side and again, Longstaff is one such player who stands out in that regard. He's always getting stuck in, closing players down, showing for the ball, carries it very well and wouldn't mind doing the grunt work for the likes of Pogba or Bruno or whoever it may be to venture forward into space.
I personally don't see Longstaff accepting an offer to join us because he's apparently a true Geordie and just broken into the Newcastle team. He might want one or two more seasons there first and see how things go with the takeover too.
