Shooting for the stars but will settle for the low probably. Reminds me of someone..

Well, somebody is getting a ban in this thread today
Some people have no respect for the mods on this place. They've made about 100 warning posts and people still keep going on derailing the thread. Every page is full of nonsense rather than replies to the tweets.

Good players. West Ham wanted Gomez last summer as well.
Yeah. Questionable approach from WH though considering Gomez is being chased by Inter, Valencia, Atletico etc and Lobotka has been linked with PSG from what i remember. Lobotka might be attainable though, who knows.

If they act quickly and throw money at them, it could be possible. A concrete offer and money is always good. Celta also had a horrendous season, so West Ham currently would be a step up. I doubt either of them will end up at a top club this summer.

Perhaps. I think Gomez will go to a better club than West Ham personally.

Bale is Sanchez. It's best to wait for Sancho next year and keep Pogba. Once we start winning back, the mood will change again. It's football, not brain surgery.

I’d take Bale on loan for the season in a heartbeat. People forget how good he is. He is world class when fit. When fit being the key point though.

If we can’t get Sancho this summer then a Bale loan deal makes sense. He’d easily Add 15-20 goals and would be a difference maker (what we need) in the big games.

Signing him permanently would be a huge risk (Sanchez 2) but a season long loan where we pay half his wages is a no brainer. Especially if the alternative is fecking Mata or Lingard on the right.

Bale is exactly the sort of deal we should stay miles away from at this point. He's over the top, struggling with injuries and unwanted at Real Madrid, where he's being paid an insane amount of money, everything about him signals that he's comfortable with his situation. He's Sanchez with a ponytail.

Exactly, the hate on Bale is ridiculous. Would walk into our team easily...if not on crutches..nah seriously he is still a quality player when fit which is usually two thirds of each season looking at his stats. A loan with split wages would be fine in my opinion. Obviously the Real swap nonsense is a joke but with a hefty fee for Pogba plus Bale loan it would not be the worse deal. Rather keep Pogba of course but I believe he wants out and will only do the same next summer if we make him stay now.

How does a bale loan reduce the Pogba fee though? If they can’t afford the cash it makes no difference. Bale on those wages is worth nothing in this market to anyone, rather like Sanchez.

You’d rather stick with Mata and Lingard on the right over Bale on a no strings attached loan?

Dunno if this has been posted yet but there you go .

Sarri and Cristiano in the same team seems a bit awkward for me.

Why the desperation to go after a player that is over the top, struggles with injury in Spain, whom is generally content with life and would prefer to play golf ?

Good on Sarri for getting rid of Chelsea before they could feck him over.

Getting players that is over the top is generally a good idea. Over the hill, though. Not so much.

I don’t get it. The risk of him being another Sanchez is a huge risk right now, not next year or whenever he’s signed in this ridiculous hypothetical parallel universe in which Bale has shown himself to be anything other than completely over football. The man does not give a feck about playing anymore, the possibility about returning to England, joining United/another top team etc. It’s complete madness and totally epitomises everything about the club that everyone has grown to hate post Fergie.

Correction, how good he WAS!
I suspect you like a few people on this forum still thinking of bale from his spurs days, a marauding and powerful player. Let me tell you, he's nothing like that anymore! He doesn't run at defenders, he likes to play upfront and wait for the ball to arrive to his feet then does nothing with it. His movement is so static he makes Lukaku looks like chicharito ffs!

Bottom line, I hope we stay well clear of this has been, injury prone player.

Noone is gonna buy Bale with that Salary and Injury Record. Real Madrid gonna bleed by his salary.:devil:

It'll be funny if he goes to PSG and they get banned. Which is exactly what'll happen.

Footballing reasons is such a moronic hope to cling on to when you're paying others more.
