Juan Mata. The only Man United player who could pass as a Man City player for technical ability yet we want him gone? Agree he shouldn’t be a starter but great that he’s staying.

He couldnt pass as a City player those days are gone

He wouldn’t make it as a city player. Kdb, Sterling, Fernandinho, Sane, mahrez all have athleticism, pace and/or physicality to back up their technique. And dont get me started on D & B Silva, they’ve been through some black magic style transformation in terms of physical output....to go with their bags of technique.
Mata wouldn’t stand a chance there
All I’m saying is he wouldn’t look like a donkey in their team unlike every one of our other players who aren’t up to the technical standard.

I like Mata but he's looked over the hill for a while now. Time to move on.

I don’t think we’ve a single player that would make it there. Possibly Pogba, but even then I think he slows the tempo down too much and can’t be arsed to recover the ball. Actually think the best one would have been Herrera who was tenacious, athletic and pretty technical.....shame he’s fecked off though

You mean the deal that probably been sorted for over a year? I'd say they've fecked around a lot tbh
No, i mean that they have already reinforced with 4 signings with Mendy next in line.

Militao, Hazard, Jovic, Mendy and Rodrygo coming in as well. The squad refreshment went well I would say.

I'd take him. £130 + Bale on a season (with an option for another season) long loan, with RM covering half his wages.
That's the only way I'd take Bale.
It's clear we're not getting Sancho this summer. So if Ole is to use EL as a stage to develop the youth and put all the eggs in the PL basket, I think Gareth could last 30 or so games in the league.
Then next summer go for Sancho and may be extend Bale's loan.

That Pogba story is clear bullshit. Its like us offering Sanchez in exchange as if we wouldn't sell him in a straight deal anyway.
Its really strange how Inter and Madrid try and get us to compromise on players they cant afford. As if they have the right to sign them no matter what the financial situation.

When posting an article from a newspaper it should be essential to name the journalist writing it. That’s far more important than the actual publication. Who is James Nursey? Exactly.

88m rising to 130m is reported (in pounds) by British journos.
That's probably 10 pages full of clauses he needs to meet to raise those £42m.
£9m for 15+ goals, £5m for 12+ assists, £3m for 33+ league appearances, another £5 for CL winners, £3m for league winners, £1.5m for a ballon d'or.
Who knows what else is there.

Not great news for us. He’s desperate to stay in Italy, and if Roma are interested in a swap like a tweet says above, Dzeko could easily be used.

We lose the side who seem the most interested in Lukaku

We already rejected swap deal. Think Napoli are also interested in Lukaku

He's one of the better ones tbf

Quick, our friends in Spain want Pogba, let his agent work!

Also, Utd sign another left winger alongside Martial...try to chop Bale in to them!

Miike Keegan is a a reliable journo and it's a interesting piece.

The recruitment team and Ole have the power of veto on potential incoming targets.

We will also go for more experienced players too.

Keegan also confirms our interest in Sebastian Haller which is interesting. Think the Haller deal will happen if/when Lukaku departs.

One more reason to pray for his exit then.

If Pogba wants to go then fine, but I'll be gutted if we take that clapped out has-been as part of the deal, he has no desire left and is happy to hang around Madrid and collect his wages despite not being wanted for some time.
