Anything under £35m feels like a steal to me in a market where Daniel James fetches ~18m, even with his suspect knees. Cracking player on form.

I’d agree. There have been some notable “peak” seasons from the likes of RvP, Suarez and Salah but I think the contest for best player since Ronnie would be Aguero vs Hazard based on total contribution with Aguero edging it for me as well.
Kyle walker is better, so it would be a strange signing for that kind of money. There is a reason Why Juve are open to sell cancelo after only one year.

However we heard this last summer and we signed 2. We most certainly need it but we also need some guys out - in order to make way for the decent youth we have (Tuanzebe, Laird, O'Connor, Garner, Gomes, Greenwood) not expecting them all to be regulars but break them in at least. I do expect Greenwood, Gomes and Tuanzebe to be squad regulars.

I think the difference this time is the manager's way of thinking is more in line with the boards, where as with Jose it was oil and water, at least that's what I'm hoping, I'm not entrirely convinced.

How on earth are we going to catch up with city, no offence to Meunier who is a good right back but Cancelo is better and man city will have a better back up right back than our first choice, then you have us after Longstaff whilst City are after Rodri. The gap this summer between us and them seems to be getting bigger.
City in talks with Juve for Cancelo for 50M EUR. At that price would be cheaper and imo is a far better player than AWB.
