For a second, after a quick cursory glance, I thought Hearts were in for Pogba. Instead its Charlie Adam. Damn it.

And for a scary second I thought we were in for Charlie Adam, knowing us these days we would probably have paid 60 -70 M and a bumper wage deal.

We really need to try and get Sane if City moves him on. Would Pep sell him to us? Maybe he doesn't see us a threat anymore and would, like Jose sold us Mata

Why would he join us ?

Bayern is rebuilding and looking for a left winger . He will be a perfect fit.

I can't even be bothered with this all summer and I honestly dont give 2 shits if he leaves. Probably our most overrated player ever.

Get a deal sorted before the end of the season and re-invest the money into a new midfield.

Agree with this. The summer hasn't even started and I'm over this crap. If he wants to go get him out the door ASAP. If he wants to stay, great. Keep him. End of story. Either way it needs to be sorted quickly.

About time we got some Muppet worthy tweets in here! Cancelo would be perfect.

Is this Nicolo Schira guy generally reliable does anybody know?

Is he any good? I genuinely don't know.

Yes, versatile, rapid, can defend, cross and attack, even has a decent shot on him. Bit flashy at times, but up there with the best, only issue maybe cost.

I meant from Roma's perspective. Cannot see what this version of Mourinho could offer them even if they had a sudden influx of cash.
Still blaming Jose? Have you seen the state of these players? Not to mention the board.

Ronaldo is going to throw a right fit if Cancelo is sold, I don't see it happening.

It's very likely Allegri is sacked in the summer anyway.

:wenger: Blaming Jose?! Is he immune from blame? He bought half of these fecking players!

It’s debatable how much influence he had over signings. He stated he was more a coach, than manager. He’s obviously partly at fault regardless. But whatever, Twitter thread and we’re being linked to a very good right back  so get back to it...

Another tweet from this Nicolo Schira guy, from Dec 18, 2018: "#ManUnited's first choice of as manager for the next season is Antonio #Conte. Talks ongoing. #MUFC #mufc #transfers #manutd"

It's safe to say everything this guy says can be discarded.

Don't believe anything is in the Cancelo stuff.

From 10 days ago.

When I arrived in Italy it was a radical change for me, I came from Spain where technique is preferred, while here tactics are a really fundamental part. Luciano Spalletti helped me a lot, even when learning defensive concepts: I am grateful, for me the months at Inter were very important, they allowed me to come to Juventus, the best club in Italy, with Mr. Massimiliano Allegri, one of the best in the world and a great person, from whom I still have to learn a lot. This year I learned a lot, with great people, great friends and even great professionals. I want to continue in Juventus, continue to write my future here. I have improved a lot in a year here , in many aspects, when you train with the best, you too automatically improve.

When you train with the better, automatically better too. When you train with players like Douglas, Ronaldo, Dybala, Alex Sandro, but also Bonucci and Chiellini you also improve the aspects in which you are most lacking. I want to improve a lot and become one of the best. The beginning impressed me the most in my first days here was Pjanic, he is a very intelligent player, even before receiving the ball, he already knows what to do and at first he hit me. He is really a great player."

He's a player we should've bought a while back, not just when he's signed a deal to 2023 at Juve for fecks sake. Sounds very happy at a top squad.

I fear it'll be City :annoyed:

To sit on the bench? Seriously! City have too many midfielders at the moment.

They have D.Silva, B.Silva, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Foden as the centre midfielders.

Their priority should be replacing Fernandinho and B Fernandes isn't the guy to do so.

I believe that if we really want him, we'll get him. That said, what does that mean for our system?

We either play a 433 with him and Pogba above a holding midfielder, go with a diamond and play him behind the forwards or he's the Pogba replacement.

One of the worst. I remember a few years back he fell for a made up transfer rumour on twitter and started giving it credence. I just can't remember the exact details now. We even had a laugh on here about him.

Who replaces the 16 goals and 14 assists of Pogba?

Don’t get me wrong having Smalling out the team fills me with joy but if this was the case I’d hope we would have a top class player lined up to replace Pogba.

Wasn't advocating it, I was trying to guess Raiola's proposition

I think Ole will surprise us with some great signings. I think the likes of Ake, Brooks, Havertz, Tielemens could be the types of player he's looking at. Guillem Balague said a few days ago that Ole's not looking at superstar names. He wants hungry players who are young and can run. Sounds spot on to me.

I am all for this, SAF always went for hungry young players that are step away from being the next in their position.
