Or he might be a Gen Z kid, who regularly uses his social media and occasionally likes a post, without any hidden agenda, you dumb cnut.

Balague has some cheek using the word naive with his beliefs in where Pep and players would and wouldn't go to.

Not saying I'm thinking De Ligt is on or something. He's on the naive train that fans are on.

So who are we after then? Who's left apart from the nobodies James and Longstaff? Sancho is off, Koulibaly seems as well, De Ligt too. What about Fernandes?

Get used to the ‘nobodies’ if that is how you see them. Perhaps another team would be better for you? City/Barca

A team is more important than its individual parts. Let’s see how it all comes together (or falls apart) before insulting players who might bleed for the team.

I know we had a good window outside the top 4 with Mourinho here but he was the draw for players as well as the club. Away from De Ligt (it's always been a difficult predicament) it's very problematic to find that the highest targets are seemingly disinterested and unsure over the club's direction.

It's early on in the window but it's already looking like a drag, the worst part of it all is our summer activity will determine if Solskjaer is here next season or not which is unfair but the reality of how messed up we truly are.

1st the link us to every player and today we miss out on said players I see a bit of a theme ;)

Anyway feel for those who took the De Ligt bait :wenger:

Not my money so I don't mind us paying that much. Do I think we're overpaying? Absolutely but I'd rather do that than deal with the chuckle brothers next season.
To be honest I'd rather we spend money on the team then in Glazers pockets but the problem with that is we are ruining the structure of the team and we are getting players who only come here for money which for me is a big no no.

It is actually because surely he must know that signing football players and judging how good they actaually are is not exactly in his line of expertise.

Are you saying at the time you thought these signings were going to fail? Is there a guarantee factor in football now?

I feel like I've read every possible scenario for Marcos Rojo in the last 24 hours.

He's happy at United
He's desperate to leave
He's in Ole's plans
The club wants him offloaded and names their price for him

I hope it's 2 and 4.

Well it seems we're starting next season with Jones and Smalling so there won't be a problem

Well ESPN just published a video of De Ligt basically denying he had agreed any deal yet. Ogden basically looks foolish for saying De Ligt-Barca was done 2 months ago. Could still happen, but hey, theres a chance hes coming here still.

De Ligt today has spoken on his future. "Where do I see myself? Well, the PL is a big competition, Spain also, but you have other competitions, it's not (just) about those two. I still don't know anything about where my future is, so I see how it goes."

Ogden's cred has fallen off a cliff since he moved to ESPN. Their transfer rumor section is basically rag sourced click bait.

Why would De Ligt say he has agreed any deal? Nothing has been confirmed by clubs so he’s not going to do it.

Uli Hoeneß about Jerome Boateng: "My friendly advice to him would be to leave the club. He needs a new challenge, he looks out of place."

pure class, as always. Remember when those cnuts had the audacity to call us out when Schweinsteiger was phased out? Classless cnuts.

Does this mean he's no longer at his peak ?

"Sources have told ESPN FC that United have offered De Ligt a deal worth £250,000-a-week to move to Old Trafford -- more than the player will receive at Barcelona. But despite the prospect of playing in the Premier League with United, De Ligt has made it clear to the club that his preference is a move to Barcelona.."
