Cant we just promote Garner ?

Garner will get plenty of games. Peirera is likely gone, we lost Fellaini, Herrera and Matic probably should be sold. We have a lot to do in the midfield this summer. Would also not guarantee we keep Fred.

Do we actually know that? Feel free to link me with details i'm curious as I always assumed a club of our size would have someone dedicated to working out valuations of players at the club and ones we're interested in rather than having just one guy do everything from football deals to club marketing.

Woodward is the man in charge of our transfer dealings. Ultimately he must have an awareness of market value. Its clear he doesn't.

This really sucks. I don't know much about the player but from what i've read he's performed well on loan and Bayern interest shows his talent. Disappointing that we could lose out due to work permit issues. Reading rumours that it could be 20m+ which would be tasty for a player we have never used.

He’d play a similar role as Mctominay imo. He’s similar to him in regards of breaking up play and winning the ball back. He’s just a better passer than Mctominay.

I'm not talking about role, more his ability and what he does with the ball. He is more like Garner, who also by the way breaks up play etc. Longstaff is more productive on the ball.

I must be one of the very few that thinks we're gonna have a good summer transfer window.

I don't really know why, perhaps it's just delusion.

Would rather have Meunier than Bissaka personally. 20-25 mill vs 50 million, not to mention Bissaka doesn't have a great technique and he isn't very good going forward. I feel we aren't going to add a RW this year with the Sancho rumors dying down, so it's even more important that we add a RB who is good going forward.
I feel a better DM and a top class CB would solve our defensive issues, we don't need anther defensive fb
He'll be essentially another project that we will have to work on and develop, like Dalot.
Meunier would have been perfect but hey, he isn't English

Yeah, I was very excited to see him in the prem for you. My brother-in-law is an Everton fan and he was one I said he should keep an eye on this season. Still, free money!

AWB isn't really another 'project' like Dalot - I think he is already an established right back, in fact, he's one of the best in the Premier League and he still has room for more improvement.

Wasn't this his first season as RB? He's had a good season, but too call him an established RB and one of the best in the league would be a real stretch.
He can improve but again he's no finished project, he better than Dalot though

He broke through towards the end of last season, but this season was his first full season.

I would still say he has established himself as one of the best right backs in the league, even though he hasn't been playing for that long.

Who would you rate higher than him in the league? I can't think of many personally.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Meunier here by the way, but I can certainly see why we'd be interested in prioritising AWB.

These type of stories make me laugh.
We haven't bid 25m yet, but are going too
The papers know before we make this bid, it's going to be rejected.
So why are we going to make this bid anyway?

Nothing has actually happened yet, but the papers know both sides of the outcome!

Robson is very annoying, all he does is provide running commentary.

James Robson is the biggest guesser out there. Has he ever got anything right?
