I can't help feeling he'd not have a good time with us and it wouldn't work out. I can't put my finger on what it is, but a big money move for him would make me very nervous.

Thiago was supposed to come to us in 2013 if I recall, then Pep convinced him to join Bayern. I'd like Thiago, he's scary good who can help us to control the games and has killer passes in him. He has 2 years left on his contract starting this summer so I don't think he would be expensive but around 60-80m euro would be good for us.

Thiago or Verrarti would be a dream signing, they are the type of midfielder we need in midfield.

Tier 1 reliable - "Hazard, Pogba, a center back and a left back are the PRIORITIES of Real Madrid". He also adds that “Real Madrid is optimistic with the signings of Hazard and Pogba".

Well their priority- Pogba is going to cost them a bomb of money. That’s for sure

They can try, but outside of a £200m+ deal then this isn't happening. For all his faults, Ed has shown an obdurate side when it comes to holding on to players that he wants to keep - see De Gea and Martial, when both at different times looked odds on to be leaving.

I love Herrera, but we need an upgrade on him. In a perfect world he re-signs and we still get a massive upgrade on him. Certainly dont want him to leave.

We'd be daft to pay that sort of money, maybe I'll be alone in thinking that though.

You’re not alone. I’ve posted this in another thread but I don’t think he’s going to be the mega fix for the defense that we want him to be, like Van Dijk was for Pool. He’s most definitely not worth that release clause either.

Real can have Pogba for Varane, Kroos and Bale.

Oh hell no. Let them try to dig themselves out of that huge wage bill for that trio without our help.

They achieved so much with CR7. I'd hate for them to conquer the world again with our Pogba

I hope we won't sell pogba but if we do then anything less than 150 mil is pathetic from our side, that one trick pony from pool went for 140 and Real Madrid are desperate to add big names.

"Nos vemos en manchester" saga! His game has matured a lot since then, seems to have gotten over his injuries and is now a great player to have sitting at the base of the midfield. Would love to have him if he wants to "seek a new challenge". Will help us keep Dave too.

No thank you.

wow, no thanks.

Yes please

Oh wait, goddamn watch still saying 2015 as the date

What a shit deal.

Haha relax guys, this was more tongue in cheek, I don't know how to do white text but I was eager to see the response none the less.

What would you take if he comes out and asks to leave in the summer. Just big money or would you take any Real players?

Huge money. World record fee and then some.
To be perfectly honest though my response would be to him you are going no where.

They'd have to suit what we're building; Kroos, for example, is a fantastic player but he doesn't suit a hard pressing team; so, even though he'd be our most gifted player if Pogba left, he wouldn't fit in.

I think Carvajal, Varane and Casemiro are the only players we should be interested in if a swap was happening. Maybe Modric, although age is against him.

They would have to give us casemiro + isco and then some money on top.
I would definitely prefer players over money. That leaves no chance of Silly Ed blowing it on the wrong players (at the grossly inflated prices he'd be quoted after the Pogba sale).

What? Have you seen the guy play? He's going to be huge!

I have seen his videos on YouTube . He is an attacking midfielder and looks impressive with all the long range goals but he isn't a Herrera replacement and obviously not 10x better than Herrera as the article states .

Dating Kate Upton is a priority for me. In fact I am optimistic about it.

No realistic at all but It seems a very good deal for United.
I understand the negativity towards Bale, but Kroos and Varane?

It'll better be Mbappe if we are allowing Ander to go there. Otherwise it's an absolutely diabolical decision

He's out of contract in the summer so the club don't have a choice of whether he stays or not. We did have choice over whether to let him run his contract down though. We seem to be really poor at this since Woodward took over, letting players get to the final year of their contracts before instigating talks over a new one.

Do you see Pogba happening? I'd have thought Eriksen would make more sense for Real than Pogba. Last year of contract, stalling on a new deal and with Levy needing to make back some money for Poch to spend, you'd have a more willing seller to deal with than a belligerent Ed Woodward (who as we've seen in the De Gea and Martial episodes, has proven that when he wants to dig in and have a war of attrition, he will do so).

Personally, I don't know where this supposed war chest is coming from. Yes, you haven't spent a lot in the last few years, but the market is radically different to the one you last really participated in, and with the renovation of Bernabeau; I ask again, where is the money coming from for the renovation to continue AND for 500m(E) to be committed to the squad in one summer?
