We've heard almost nothing about Martial and De Gea in weeks. I don't care about Mats and Young's Contract ffs.
Perhaps we've accepted defeat on those two. I've assumed for months that Martial is off in the summer. De Gea seems possible, too.
This is likely. Last month Martial's agent said negotiations were going nowhere and he was very pessimistic about the possibility of a new deal. De Gea has given us enough time to get our shit together as it is and we're no step closer to being the club he deserves.
Where would De Gea go, though? Most top teams have good goalkeepers right now, other than perhaps PSG. Also, United has an option to extend his contract for one more year, no?
