They were both involved with the French youth teams growing up, so that could explain the 'bro' comment.

The only fly in that ointment is that Pogba was involved with the U-19 when Koulibaly was with the U-20. By the time Pogba joined the U-20, Koulibaly had already declared for Senegal, meaning that they never shared a team in an official game.

That being said, it stands to reason that their paths crossed and maybe they even went to training camps together. Although they never played in the same team, Koulibaly did play on the same side as Pogba's brother:

If they all socialised after the match, they could have met each other and become friends.

Is it confirmed Koulibaly signed a new contract?
Yes. He confirmed it himself four days ago.

“I feel very happy at Napoli. I’ve been welcomed very warmly since the moment I arrived, both for me and my family,” the Senegal international told Sky Sport Italia.

“This contract renewal is because I want to win something with this club, the team I care most about in my heart. I have felt Neapolitan since my first day here.

“We’ve been trying to win the Scudetto for three or four years, which is very difficult against Juve, as they are putting together some extraordinary statistics.

“We hope this year will be the right one for us. There’s also the Europa League and Coppa Italia, so if we play like Napoli, we can go far.”

Samir Nasri's name for some reason reminded me of the Alan Davies podcast.. The tuesday club. That was fun.

edit: apparently they have done 4-5 episodes in the last 2 years.. I thought it was done.

Knew Nasri was destined for West Ham someday the moment words like "wasted potential", "merc" and "drip doctors" came about. About the most West Ham signing there is.

18 months left on his contract, seems he'll be frozen out unless he signs a new contract, hopefully youngsters and their parents are going to start taking note of Chelsea's behaviour, though saying that, it's been going on since before Solanke.

Outrageously talented wide player. Had a very impressive pre-season with Chelsea. Selling him to Bargain Munich for 20 million would silly. Typical low-ball Bayern offer.
Come the summer, he'll only have one year left on his contract and doesn't look like he'll be renewing. No club would offer that much for a player with so little time left on his contract and hardly any first team club experience no matter how talented he is.

He has got one fantastic agent to bandy all these star name clubs around!

Haven't Arsenal fans being whinging about him for years?

The man who won us two cup finals?

But yes, some fans have. I love him though, great player who has done more for the club than any other player since Henry left.

Good luck to him wherever he goes.
