Exactly this. Ramsey is no slouch. I would take him here. Especially if he can regain that ridiculous form from a few years back

Think he'd do really well here, he supports us too so I'm sure we'd have a bigger swing (just don't send Neville to convince him).

I'll be honest.

I can't see us signing anyone this window. Espeically when we don't who the manager will be in June.

"Many at the club have for a while admired both Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan and – just like many in the world – Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly. The latter’s availability may have even increased, given that he is said to be considering his future in Italy due to the racial abuse he recently suffered. Napoli would however want Virgil Van Dijk-style money for the centre-half, of around £80m."

Miguel is a clueless chancer. Claimed Jose was going nowhere then the next day he was sacked.

His value will drop quite significantly if he doesn't move in the summer. I could see us bidding around what Liverpool paid for VVD. Whether Napoli accept will depend on their intentions. Do they want to cash in on him or are they ok to see him stay beyond summer 2019 and see his value drop considerably.? I think it would be better for Napoli to sell than see him lose value.

Yeah just paper talk, we'll pick up Alderweireld for £25m in the summer. That would be a solid piece of business.
We're currently terrible at defending set pieces. Would Alderweireld in our back line really improve that?

He'd improve our ball distribution and building out from the back, no doubt, but I'm not sure he's good enough to make up for how terrible we are at actual defending. I'm not an expert on Alderweireld, though, so I don't know.

No one is paying that price for Koulibaly. Usual click baity nonsense. ignore it.

If i was Ed i would pay 30m to sign Alderweirald in january as his value will drop to 25m in summer anyway, and then try to sign Koulibaly in the summer for 80m. We already have Lindelof who will hopefully come good along with Tuenxebe (on loan at Villa).

I would also try to offload Rojo, Darmian, Bailly, Jones and Valencia. This will hopefully fetch us around 70-80m, therefore our net spent would be approximately 30m only and our defense would be upgraded.

Jones and Valencia are both almost out of contract. Rojo and Darmian aren’t worth much and we’d be lucky to get our money back for Bailly.

Darmian, Rojo, and Bailly are probably the only ones with suitors unless we can trick West Ham into buying Jones. Valencia is at the end of his career and is no way worth much of anything at all. Luckily Shaw seems stable enough and Young can still put in a shift. Really think we need someone to compete with Dalot in the summer and then add a Midfielder and 2 CBs. Maybe a right winger if we're feeling spendy but I'd like to see Chong etc. given some chances before spending big there.

Don't think we would get much for Valencia even if he had time left on his contract. I can see us giving Jones an extension to try and sell him, we invested 25? million in him years back, i can't see us letting him go for free.
I can see us selling Rojo and Darmian but I think we will keep Bailly.
So 20 million for Rojo and 12 million for Darmian with say 20 million for Jones (for being english and youngish) is what I would expect. That's 50 mill.

You can get Toby for £25m now. This clause is active till 14th of June. After that they can ask for whatever they want.

The clause is only active in the summer transfer window.

No you can't mate. The clause becomes active in the Summer window, but not until then.

Somebody that Chelsea shouldn't be letting go of. I don't understand why they are really, but I've not been following the situation really.
Proper talent from what I've seen of him. Chelsea aren't renowned for providing youth with opportunities though.
Interesting, sounds good then, if we could get him for a reasonable price. As in not something like 40m pounds.

How can Spurs be below his level when they had a title challenge 3 years ago, knocked Arsenal out of the cup this year, finished above Utd for a couple of years, have a great new stadium where the toilets have heated seats, the most amazing training facilities you'll find anywhere in North London and such a great fan base?

They haven't won a single trophy....
They are not investing in the squad....

He's french too! You'd think he'd love the prospect of a cheese room, unless they only offer babybells.
