Wait. We gave Fellaini a 5 year deal initially, then convinced him to sign again after his contract expired in the summer or was it a shorter deal initially with a renewal under LVG?

Classic from the cafe, it's all on Mourinho that Fellaini is still here, but its on the board that Martial is still here. Basically twist and turn the way the club is run to justify an agenda. The manager does not handle contracts and extensions. It was cheaper to give him a small pay rise than get in another squad player, it is also better to get Martial on a new contract than sell him for a loss. Both were reasonable decisions by the board.

First time I've heard about this player.I gather he's good and very likely another successful drop-out from Chelsea's footballing academy.
Currently Chelsea's best youth player (pretty impressive feat given how strong their youth teams have been these past 10 years). He replaced Sancho at the Under 17 World cup last year after Sancho left the tournament and England went on to win it with Callum playing a starring role in the final few games.

Sadly, Callum Hudson-Odoi is off. Bayern wouldnt bid again without assurance that he wants the move. He will see what Sancho and Nelson are doing and be itching to move there. If its £20m up front with add ons, he will go.

Incredibly talented youngster but a long way off Pedro and Willian. Has a lot to learn too, id absolutely insert a buy back clause, though

It's Chelsea's decision, not the decision of 'English football.'

Think he means why is no english club bidding for him.

No way bayern agree to that.

Think that's after getting notion from Chelsea that he's not available to an English side.

You're selling him to Bayern and not some other club. Bayern won't agree to a buy back clause.

FC Barcelona wish to address stories published in France regarding the signing of players from Paris Saint Germain, and make clear that they have not breached any rule in this regard.

The only contact made was during the month of August and one week ago.
In both cases, this contact was made with PSG's sporting management to show FC Barcelona's interest in player Adrien Rabiot.

FC Barcelona have always wanted to work with the utmost transparency in their dealings with PSG and with any other club.

FC Barcelona refute the existence of any type of agreement with PSG player Adrien Rabiot.
So seems pretty inevitable that Rabiot will be a Barca player, either in the summer or January for a nominal fee.

Why even bother? They get linked with tons of players. Seems like they want the world to know they're interested.

They're probably trying to prevent PSG taking legal action (or at least threatening to) like with the Veratti deal a few summers back.

Seems Barca don't want PSG to assf*ck them again and assure them that they're not tapping him up.

From this week, Barcelona are allowed to walk up to his front door and hand him papers to sign. Very different from Veratti, who had years left on his contract.

Yes from this week onwards, but they're trying to avoid PSG claiming that they have been in contact for a while now.

The club should make a bid in the region of £80m for De Ligt in january. Even if Ajax demands more just pay it and secure him before another club gets him. He is literally exactly what we need. He is the complete package at such a young age, a generational type of talent he is and centre backs like that are incredibly tough to find. Ed need to make a phone call to Edwin asap.
