Come the summer, he'll only have one year left on his contract and doesn't look like he'll be renewing. No club would offer that much for a player with so little time left on his contract and hardly any first team club experience no matter how talented he is.
Brahim Diaz is going to Real Madrid for about €20m so triple the contract time remaining and throw in that he's English and club grown and you'll change your valuation.

"Many at the club have for a while admired both Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan and – just like many in the world – Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly. The latter’s availability may have even increased, given that he is said to be considering his future in Italy due to the racial abuse he recently suffered. Napoli would however want Virgil Van Dijk-style money for the centre-half, of around £80m."

Didn't know Rahman was still a Chelsea player. They should let Odoi go.

From what Marca said, it sounds like Real Madrid are going to sign him on a free instead.

The player's contract at Manchester City will run until June 30 and until then he will continue to work in England.

So unless it goes ahead, Sancho to Dortmund is the best comparison.

Why would Chelsea allow Cahill to join Arsenal?

Perhaps Chelsea don't think Cahill will strengthen their team and cause any threat to the top 4 qualification? Similar to how we sold them Welbeck and Silvestre....

Yeah just paper talk, we'll pick up Alderweireld for £25m in the summer. That would be a solid piece of business.

Wasn't in January though. It's clear who's battling for what at this point so why would you do it now? Especially when it's not like he would net you much money anyways. And it's clear it's Chelsea/Arsenal/United(hopefully) for the 4th spot anyways. Hell I would be against selling even someone like Darmian to either of those teams until summer.

How in God’s name does Ramsey have clubs of this calibre chasing his signature? Free agent or otherwise.

Bewildering.
Probably because he's actually quite decent. He's a free agent and would be a great squad addition to most top club's.
Not world class but certainly a step above most free agents, Arsenal are losing a very good player.

In todays market anything over £80m would be overprice for Koulibaly. Just sign up De Ligt instead before he goes elsewhere.

Exactly this. Ramsey is no slouch. I would take him here. Especially if he can regain that ridiculous form from a few years back
