We're currently on 2.5.3 so if we get between €70-90m (not happening unless we sell within the league) then 50% of the difference is split.

Ah it didn't say that on the newspaper websites and couldn't find the contract anywhere to refresh my memory. Thanks for the info!

I hope we don't sell him. Being linked to Mandzukic and Arnautovic aren't positive signs as we'd offered him a central role. Unless of course it's a tactic to get him to sign, which I hope it is.

He's not better than Lukaku. Therefore he wouldn't start. Not sure why you think he wouldn't want too come. He's won pretty much everything with Juventus. Pretty sure he would rather play upfront aswell. Don't they use him on the left to do a job a lot of the time?
 
Why anyone would want Mandzukic is beyond me. 4 years ago ? Sure - but at 32 when our team is screaming for creativity and pace ? Jeez

No. Anyone can apply for a blue tick. He's got a blog and done a few fan articles for the MEN. Raoul deleted your post as the tweet shows up in the transfer tweets area and isn't transfer related for this window.

What's the point of a blue tick, when anyone with a Twitter account can get one these days?

We signed Sheringham when he was 31 and at that time we had way more forwards than we do now. Rashford isn't a striker so having a back up for Lukaku is a must, Mandzukic seems like an ideal number 2.

Well - I do still find it a bit strange that people seem to cheer when Fellaini is leaving - and as a replacement want Mandzukic ? And even if we only need creativity - why Mandzukic ?

Sheringham was one of the most intelligent players in the game, with a head that was quicker than anyone else. Mandzukic is not.

Probably because he's a bit of a Giroud type - experienced player, inexpensive, and has a few goals in him. We could do with a bit of experience to balance out the likes of Martial, Rashford et al

I think if Lukaku gets injured we could slot him in without altering our style of play.

Wasn't Martial's fee only ever bandied around as a "total", which would include him winning Ballon D'Ors etc?>

+ 10m after he scores 25 goals - Already paid
+ 10m after he makes 25 appearances for france - He is on 18 now
+ 10m if he nominated for Balon Dor - Not happened yet

So we are already 60m in with him so far, and remember that he has a clause that Monaco get 50% of any fee between 60 and 100m if we sell him.

So yeah I don't think we are selling him this summer unless its a swap deal with a player.

So we would get more if we sold him for 59m?
 
Where Conte will go? He should have enough offers, Milan would be lucky, but they extend the contract with Gattuso.

I posted here. As we've activated the first clause, it is only a fee between €70-90m that the fee is split and Monaco would only get half the difference. So if we got €75m for Martial, Monaco would get €2.5m.
