Wolves are a club with a good vision, very impressed with what they’re doing.

i'd gladly take a swap involving, Mata&Rojo to tottenham for Alderweild

Pep DID get to correct his signings, as did Klopp. Do Liverpool have bottomless money as well?
What Klopp signings needed correction? The only ones that haven't worked out have been dirt cheap.

But he's so shit.

He's really, really fast....and that's it.
He's far from just being a speed merchant. Great carrier of the ball as well. End product sometimes lacking but still young and will be coached well at Wolves, I bet he will be a great signing

Saint-Maximin isn't that good. If Rashford is all pace and no brains, I'd struggle to even say what Saint-Maximin is.

Tbf it is not the lack of value or "Manager one foot out of the door". The ugly truth noone is speaking of is that we are a club without a clear strategy/vision of what to do on the transfer market.
Sir Alex had a good one in developing youth players and buying such players to compliment the ones we have.

Buying Bailey/Malcolm for 40 EURm would have given option of a squad player to sit on the bench and add depth to a position we have none.
Golovin could cover midfield and winger if asked and again be a decent squad player.
Tierney/Max so on - a very nice option as LB.

None of these players would have been expected to carry majority of the load or produce the goods outright. However as they develop and settle into PL football , they could become stars.

On the other hand our policy is buy ready made stars for world record figures that are expected to lit the world. They do not perform ->we have overspent - > cannot get rid of them-> problem with the manager.

Eddy needs to go to the Marketing Department. We need DoF ASAP.

Why aren't we investing? I can only imagine it's the Glazers and Woodward yet again refusing to compete.

Or maybe Mourinho was genuine when after we signed Sanchez he said we weren't going to sign another attacker and that was months before the window opened.

Sure. But they would have probably gone out and spent 70m on Maguire the next day and got it done just because they can.
True. If Leicester are signing two CBs then that indicates something might still happen there though. One new CB makes sense with them losing Huth and Dragovic and bringing in Evans but two is a bit much.

Saint Maximin isn't the finished product. Who is at 21? But he's already a top class dribbler and has fantastic pace. His final ball could use some work, but he'd fit right in on that front. I'd say he's worth a shot at 30m or so. Any more than that it's obviously a big risk. But what do United have to lose?

He's a good dribbler, not top class and his final ball needs a LOT of work. I think any of our attacking players would do a better job on the right. He'd be decent as a project, but not as a starter, and he's definitely not better than the players we can play on the right.

So 8 hours of sleep go by to wake up to the exact same situation.

We obviously I'm not going to name 400 players. But try these for a start:

1. Dembele
2. Bailey
3. Pulisic
4. Maximin
5. Malcolm

(I could keep going but I'm sure it's pointless).

Left backs?

1. Tierney
2. Philipp Max
3. Dalbert
4. Gaya
5. Grimaldo

(again, there are many money but these are just examples).

Any of these players would have been easily purchased (except Dembele but Barca would accept 100m) at the start of the transfer window. Malcolm has gone but the point still stands. Why aren't we investing? I can only imagine it's the Glazers and Woodward yet again refusing to compete.

You said you could name at least 400 rw better than Mata/Martial (when he plays rw) or Rashford (when he plays) , which I highly doubt. And yet, I can see a list of 5.

Stop wumming.

I must admit I do like the statements Bilbao put out, thanks very much, now feck off. No compilations of the person whose buggered off performances, just move on.

Why are we taking so long to table a bid for Maguire? Get it done!
Sounds like Leicester are getting in replacements first. Order seems to be:
  1. Leicester bring in 2 CB signings (1 Maguire replacement, 1 replacement for Huth/Dragovic (they already signed Evans))
  2. United sign Maguire
  3. United sell Rojo to Everton
Really not much time left to do all that in though.
