If we buy Toby and Maguire, Mou is probably going for 3 at the back. Toby, Maguire and Bailly could turn out to be a world class back line. Would make this window from crap to decent. Still would be pretty daft to ignore the RW position and pumping all the funds into defence. Got a feeling its Woody and Co who might be pushing for Maguire whilst Mourinho wants Toby.

Yeah I've been very impressed with him the couple of times I've seen him play. Reminds me of Vidic a small bit with his reading of the play and moving in to intercept and come away with the ball rather than reacting with tackles.

This is text-book "back up signing" time. By now, people would have to be in a dream world to not understand that we are focusing on Toby. Maguire is simply being lined up for a deadline saviour purchase incase Levy pulls a fast one.
If we sign Toby, just wait for the Simon Stone tweet saying we "explored" the Maguire option a few days ago, but it was too short a time.
