Pathetic behaviour. Chelsea are better off without players like that.
He's had a bit of a rotten attitude since he returned from Atleti. You could tell he only returned quite reluctantly and always longed to return to Spain. He comes across as a spoiled brat to most of our fans.

Happy to see the back of him.

Couirtois to Real Madrid is one of my favorite transfers in recent times because it means Dave's staying for a long, long time

Couirtois is a massive nob for doing what he's done but it's benefiting us so fair play to the lad.

We don’t even seem to be close in our valuations.

I just cant work out with these tweets if were actually close with anyone and the press are just making up rubbish or we have a few tricks up our sleeve? Surely the club cant allow this much bad press and social hate to be spewing if they are not confident?

Want kepa available for a lot less till very recently?

Madrid could've signed him and swapped him for courtois . Would've saved both a lot of money .

Is he really 'far more proven'? Alisson has had one good season as a starter at Roma and Kepa has had two seasons featuring regularly at Bilbao.

Sure, Alisson has performed at a higher level, but it's not like he's got a huge body of work behind him either and they've both largely been signed because of little over a years worth of performances.

Why didn't they try to sign Donnarumma for that money? Italian, big potential, Sarri would be great for him.
Not the style of keeper Sarri fancies. His distribution is a weakness.

Florentino wanted to sign Kepa, Zidane didn't, as he wanted to keep Keylor Navas calm not messing with the starter GK. He's the only reason Kepa didn't sign for Real.

Chelsea buying the GK Florentino really wanted to buy and didn't, because of him respecting Zidane's planning for the upcoming years, only to be left stranded without Zidane, without Kepa, and signing Courtois from Chelsea.

BTW, Kepa is really good.

Or at least ask for Keylor Navas in a swap deal. Imagine he would be up for it if he is losing his job.

IIRC, he was supposed to be free agent come this summer before he signed a new contract after Madrid move fall through (rumor was Zizou backed Navas & other old guards which in the end saw him not looking same way with Perez)

Dembele + Rakitic for Pogba? Am I reading this correctly?

It’s most likely just conjecture, but makes you think. I love Pogba and hoped he stayed forever, but if he wants out, this would be a good way to get over the bullshit.

If that was real (it’s 100% fake), it would be an amazing deal for us.

Looks like we're in for the craziest deadline Day yet for United. We don't seem to be close to meeting anyone's valuation apart from Mina who I doubt we really want to sign unless everything else goes tits up.

No way I see us not signing anyone, Jose has made it too clear he wouldn't be happy with his squad

25m for Boateng? That's almost as insulting as the offer we got from Barca for Pogba.

I still think it could well be a ploy to get a new contract to be honest.

I hope so too. Whilst I was not for his signing I have definitely changed my perspective on what he can bring to a team.
Regarding the contract, I have no idea what salary Pogba is on. But I think I read on the caf that Sanchez was going to earn more when he signed.
On the back of his world cup prowess, he at least deserves as much as the top earner at the club. That's my take anyways.
