Decent signing for Everton, right?
Smalling shouldn't be leaving, Jones and Rojo need shipping out first. Smalling can go in the second wave next summer if necessary.

Barca making a profit of 5 million on a total flop! I don't know why anyone would pay 18 million pounds for Digne, he has flopped at PSG, Roma and Barca. Roma had an option to buy for 2.5 million three years ago and they decided not to.
How are Barca getting these deals?
Signed Paulinho for 36 million last year from Chinese League, this year they sold him back to the Chinese League for 50 million!
Bought Mina for 9 million in Jan, about to sell him for 25-30 million pounds

Well I'd think Digne has more chance of succeeding at a lower level, thus a move to Everton makes sense. Prices are a nonsense, but at this point, we all know the market is broken.

Wow really I missed that! I thought Paulinho was doing well for them?

People are cracking this sort of comment regarding these 2... would walk into our starting 11 easily. Even if they smoke 20 fags and had a bottle of vodka the night before a game they would start

I think you over estimate them, they have one good game out of every four.

Kovacic is the player I wanted heading into the summer but CM is probably the position we least need strengthening.

Would still take him but can’t see it. Probably his agent pushing a story.

Every day I think this will be the day when we see some sort of credible link or movement regarding a transfer for us. This absolutely feels like the 2013 end to the window

Players not wanting to come to us because of our shite playing style is such an easy story to write at the moment, expect to see a few more stories very similar before the window closes.

He's a DM/CM, I cant imagine our style of play would make any difference to him

I think the opposite. He used to be a 10 and then went to CM. But he's always been much more attacking than defending and if he doesnt like how we attack then it may be a concern for him

So now we moved from it's Marca, it's a bs story to it may be a concern for him.

We are stocked on midfielders, there's no way that story is anything but bs.

What else has Mourinho told you? We're stocked with CBs and have several options for RW but that doesnt mean we wont sign a player in those positions. Theres a difference between quantity and quality, and a difference once again between quantity and players Mourinho believes in as top quality options.

We dont know if Mourinho would prefer to have Kovacic over other CMs.

A Pogba saga is really the last thing we need right now, go away Barca.

The meeting took place in a private villa, yet tuttosport knew what the meeting was about.

Are these people idiots?

I remember before he signed for us, it being well reported that his personal preference was for Barcelona.

But obviously they weren't interested/couldn't afford him at the time.

They don't tend to like individualistic kind of players there, though, do they? (hence why Zlatan struggled to fit in there, despite good stats)

Don't they prefer more 'cog-in-a-machine' type players? or was that just under Pep.

Tapping up happens all the time and clubs have learnt to accept it. It is when it becomes disrespectful and antagonistic that clubs will pursue complaint mechanisms.

Barca wouldn't be able to get Pogba for anything less than £150m, nevermind Mourinho wanting full assurance that every penny of it - and whatever else was already available - would be spent on ensuring his targets.

If they don't have permission, isn't that tapping up?

Also minimum of 200m pounds not euros. Except most of it would end up in that fat ratbag of an agents pocket. Hopefully then United will never do business with him again.

If ever there was an apt phrase to describe that slimy weasel dickskin, this would be the perfect description.
