I should have added that also he isn’t reliable at all. I don’t know where you got that idea from.

Were they? Fairly sure Matt Lawton of the Mail broke the news when we agreed a deal with Everton. I also remember Jackson of the Guardian saying in a podcast a month before the signing that the player Mourinho really wanted was Lukaku, even though every other journo was saying that we were close to getting Morata at the time.
Well, I'd say it's also about the journo rather than just the paper. There are definitely some at the Mirror who get briefed things (McDonnell for instance).
Might be bs that Juve want him. But he does want to leave and the club want rid. They just cant get someone to pay what they want for him.Pogba wanting to go back to Juventus Just feels like bullshit to me. To play with Ronaldo? Why didn’t he insist on a Madrid move two years ago in that case?
Not the new training facilities?Oh no. The most appeal aspect is the new stadium...

because he's average and gets 4 goals a season.
Agreed. Even if Pogba comes back and hands in a transfer request, I don't see any reason for us to sell. Pogba still has about 4 years left on his contract. Even if we were to receive £150m+, we wouldn't be able to get a replacement of the same quality. I'd much rather have a better team than money in the bank.Definitely. Everyone hammered the Sun with the Neymar story by Custis who actually got it right.
Imagine Pogba comes back, UK deadline closes and he hands in transfer request. In fact that's exactly what Raiola would do.
Terrible preseason and it could get much, much worse.

I think we'll push through a few signings soon, plus the majority of our first team will be back for the start of the season, so I wouldn't panic just yet.
The club are open to Pogba moving on as long as they get the money they want for him.And you know this for a fact? You think the club want to get rid of Pogba? Really?
The club are open to Pogba moving on as long as they get the money they want for him.
How do you know this exactly?
He doesn’t. A club that’s obsessed with marketing open to selling one of the world’s most popular players... sounds right.
Without inside knowledge which I dont have I cannot say its a fact. My view is based on reading various places and blogs. So yeah I could be writing utter bollocks (I hope I am) but what Ive read makes sense and from the noises that come out. Eg Pogba being offered to City and 3 others at the end of last season. How do you know this exactly?

Do you have to sell players who put a transfer request in these days?
I'm confused
You don't have to sell anyone.
It's the beginning if the end though. If players really want to, they leave no choice but to get their way.
As it would seem with Martial, no way back.
Martial only goes if we decide he goes.
Pogba only goes if we decide he goes.
Yeah ok. You can believe that.
I will. You believe that United will be forced to sell players that they don't want to that have multiple years on their contracts..
We aren't forced to sell anyone. That's the whole point of contractsWere we forced to sell DDG? Surely we didn't want to sell him and it's pretty obvious other than a tech issue he would have gone.
Ronaldo did we really want to sell him? Of course not, but he wanted to go.
If a player REALLY wants to leave he will, that much is pretty obvious.

That would be excellent business!I would be actually OK with us selling Jones and Rojo for 50-60 million combines and buying Maguire now and Toby in the Winter window for a combined fee of say 100 mill. Big upgrade on the defense by spending a net of 40 million
Because we respected the players wishes. That's entirely different to being forced. So why did we sell Ronaldo and "sell" DDG? Because ultimately they/ agents forced the move. The contract just gets you a better price.
Yeah ok. You can believe that.
Why is he always talking about lists and how many names on them?, odd as feck.
Because we respected the players wishes. That's entirely different to being forced.
I wonder if it's the board wanting to sell players first or Woodward not being keen on the players on the list. Either way, this summer isn't looking too good.
How is it odd when the question is “how many in your list”?
How the feck is that odd?
You can dress it up however you want.
But I stand by, if a player really wants to go, he will. It's just then up to the club to get the most money.
