Now the more reliable journos are reporting it and while i think Jose is happy to let him go, the club is reluctant. That can change soon. I would agree that Martial probably has permission. Just like our defenders had permission to sit on the sidelines when they declared themselves injured a few months ago. But that doesn't mean that Jose will be fully on board with it.

The people who believe that Jose is angry with Martial because he wants to see his baby born are nuts. He might be angry that he has lost another player from pre-season, on top of not having a lot of his first team players there. He might be angry that transfer business has been slow, that the transfer window is shutting early, so even less time to work in a World Cup year. Martial going away for the birth, no. Now if Martial has not informed the club until last minute that he isn't coming back to the US, then I too would be a bit miffed.
