Yeah seems to be more United fans who are utterly obsessed with him.
Tbf, Willian would slot in nicely on your right side. Would be the typical Mou signing (highly experienced, great work rate, previously worked with him).

As someone who obviously watched Willian every week last season, I could never have dreamed a club would offer so much for him. I've loved him since we signed him but he's not a £55-60m player.

The good thing about Barca bidding for Willian is that we won't get him. This will end up like Pedro to Chelsea. Bullet dodged.

Giroud should definitely stay. Always a useful option off the bench. Can't see us wanting him sold/loaned. Think Batshuayi is the striker we move in some way this window.

Morata, Giroud, and a new striker.

"However, Kanté is still far away from signing for the Ligue 1 club... PSG quite simply do not have the financial capacity to sign Kanté this summer, with newspaper evoking a €110m minimum price and Spanish duo Real Madrid and Barcelona equally keen on purchasing the World Cup winner, owing to their Financial Fair Play difficulties.
The only way that PSG could afford to sign Kanté this summer is if they sell Grzegorz Krychowiak, Gonçalo Guedes, Angel di Maria, Jesé and Alphonse Areola – it is a long shot"

I see it as Morata, Batshuayi and a new striker. Younger and closer to Sarri' style

I just can't imagine the club binning Giroud after only 6 months. Especially as we've seen how effective he can be in specific situations. We teams park the bus against us and our Plan A isn't working Giroud has his uses.
Trying hard to understand this one. Is this dude the next Bonucci or something? Why are we seemingly so desperate for him? We already have a young ball playing CB in Christensen and Rüdiger is our best CB overall. I'm wondering where Rugani even fits.

Very high potential, but seemingly out of favor at Juve and replaced with another young CB with just as much potential in Caldara. Also played under Sarri with Empoli. I'd be shocked if Juve turn that down.

What is their source and what is each individual being paid?

Ask The Guardian. But in any case, the wages you pay is pretty obviously the reason why you struggle to offload players for decent fees.

I think we have got some decent fees since Mourinho took over.

We got our money back on Di Maria, Depay, Schneiderlin. Made money on Blind, look likely to do ok with Darmian and got Alexis in return for Mkhitaryan.

Don't think we have done too badly lately, infact we have done very well indeed.

Clearly he's being signed as a partner for Rüdiger. Christensen had a good start to last season but the last few months have been awful for him.

Rüdiger Rugani starters
Christensen Ampadu backups
Zouma definitely out, one or both of Cahill and Luiz could leave so you're kind of short on options there unless you think Azpilicueta could work in a back four too.

Barca and United want Chelsea player Willian but Caf thinks it knows better...

I’d argue that Arsenal got the better deal in that swap. Mkhitaryan has performed better for them than Sanchez has for you so far.

Got to be a joke right?

Edit: you can't seriously be trying to argue that getting a player who is worth at least £80+ million in a swap with Mkhitaryan isn't good business? Their performances have been near identical statistically and both have only been at their new club's a few months.

He's not wrong that Mkhitaryan has performed better for them than Alexis for us so far. Doesn't mean it is the better deal though - depends how things go this season.

So Arsenal got a better deal than United? Utter nonsense. Alexis is worth triple Mkhitaryan and we didn't pay a penny. Cracking business by united. To argue otherwise would be dense.

And I don't think their performances have been all that different. Mkhitaryan has hardly set the world alight has he?

His worth hasn't translated to performances on the pitch, though. They've both played at a comparable level thus far. Alexis might be the superior player and worth a lot more but it doesn't mean much until he delivers on the pitch.
