Its signings like this which keeps me positive that anything can happen at any minute. No one had linked him to everton and then boom out the blue.

Keep the faith reds.. Sure next week we will have a few new faces in ;)

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Richarlison has been linked in the press with Everton from the second Silva took over there - Silva was a big factor in Richarlison joining Watford ahead of a few other interested clubs (in particular Ajax), as he took a very proactive and personal role in the transfer and is also a Portuguese speaker (Ricarlison hardly spoke a word of English before the move to Watford). Richarlison even took to Twitter to vent his anger in January when Silva was sacked.

Also, for those gobsmacked about the size of the fee - yes it looks like a lot, but no doubt a decent chunk of it would be add-ons, and also supposedly the cost might also be hiding/including the £multi-million compensation Watford are still at loggerheads with Everton over for their initial tapping-up of Silva.

There were definitely rumours a few months ago about this. But agreed, from nothing to that summer wise.

Think it is the only way they'd sell to Everton. Ridiculously overpriced.

Sold Lukaku for big money and purchase Sigurdsson and Richarlison for even more.
Maybe Silva can get the best out of him but still, big investment.

Likes of Everton & West Ham spending £40m or £50m on single players. That's actually unbelievable.

How the feck do they keep getting these kinds of fees? Meanwhile we struggle to offload Darmian and Blind for not much more. I guarantee they'll get £25 million + for trash like Sturrridge and Ings too.
Homegrown and selling to other English clubs may be the reason

Saw something about Bournemouth linked with a £32m signing the other day.
Insane. Especially as a lower league supporter as well, who remembers playing Bournemouth, when they had their buckets out at games, almost going into bankruptancy.

Jefferson Lerma of Levante.

I just don't understand these Willian to Barca rumours, it makes zero sense.

I would go for Malcom, to be honest. It's a very safe bet. Even if someone doesn't believe that he's an elite prospect.

Why? They probably don't rate Dembele and Willian is a top player (at least in my view). He was great against them in the CL for instance. Coutinho, Messi and Willian behind Suarez. Not bad that! They are probably lacking a midfielder though.

It's because you over-pay your players with wages that no other club will match unless you either subsidise their wages or sell at cut-price.

I'm convinced Barca are running some form of laundering schemes with these Brazilians. They've just got rid of Paulinho back to China, and at a profit if the transfer goes through. Their Neymar deal was shady as hell. They'll do the same with Willian and Arthur.

I'm beginning to think the same, probably out of desperation.

We got the best part of £20m for Blind. A 29 year old with 1 year left on his contract.

We’re holding out for a proper fee for Darmian, it’s not our fault nobody wants to pay one. The fact he’s shite doesn’t help much.

So what exactly are you moaning about? When was the last time we sold cheap?

£60k and £75k are hardly that exorbitant is this climate, for established internationals like Darmian and Blind.

We'd be fecking idiots to turn down £60m for 30 year old, highly inconsistent Willian. He's far from irreplaceable. We can get someone considerably younger with a much higher ceiling with that money.

Yeah seems to be more United fans who are utterly obsessed with him.
